🤝 Citizen–Corporation Coordination | Byatarayanapura Division

A meeting was held with members of various Layout and Apartment Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) in the Byatarayanapura Division to discuss and address key civic issues.

Residents were requested to submit details of vacant sites requiring cleaning and bring other civic concerns to the notice of the Division.

The issues raised during the meeting were discussed in detail, and concerned officials were directed to take necessary action and resolve them within the stipulated timeframe.

Working together with residents for a cleaner, better and more responsive Bengaluru. 🌿

🚨 SIR–2026: Review of No Mapping Cases

Additional District Election Officer (ADEO), Bengaluru North, Shri Pommala Sunil Kumar, visited the concerned office and reviewed the progress of No Mapping cases pending for approval in the DEO login.

The ADEO reviewed the status of the cases and directed the concerned officials to ensure timely verification and disposal of pending cases as per the prescribed SIR–2026 process.

The BNCC Prahari new teams are actively patrolling across the BNCC jurisdiction round the clock to promote cleanliness, prevent roadside dumping and respond to civic complaints.

♻️ Awareness & Enforcement on the Ground:

Tea stall operators were advised not to throw used tea cups and waste on roadsides.

Another person found throwing waste was warned and instructed to collect and dispose of the waste properly.

The Prahari teams are combining awareness, on-ground vigilance and enforcement to ensure cleaner streets and better civic responsibility across Bengaluru North.

As part of cleanliness enforcement, JHI and Ward Marshals took action against non-segregation of waste on Doddaballapura Main Road.

🗳️ SIR–2026: K.R. Puram Assembly Constituency

The SIR–2026 hearing process has commenced for voters who have received notices under the No Mapping and Anomalies categories.

To create greater public awareness, Commissioner & Additional District Election Officer, Bengaluru North, Shri Pommala Sunil Kumar flagged off publicity autos in K.R. Puram and reviewed the hearing arrangements.

📢 Through the publicity campaign, voters will be guided about the hearing process, designated venues, dates and required documents.

The objective is to ensure that no eligible voter is left out of the electoral roll and that the hearing process is conducted smoothly, transparently and without inconvenience to the public.

🗳️ SIR–2026: Hearing Process Begins at Hebbal

The hearing process for voters who have received notices under SIR–2026 has commenced across Bengaluru North.

Commissioner & Additional District Election Officer, Bengaluru North, Shri Pommala Sunil Kumar visited the SIR hearing venues in the Hebbal Sub-Division and reviewed the arrangements and ongoing hearing process.

During the visit, the Commissioner interacted with officials, reviewed document verification, staff deployment and facilities provided at the hearing venue. He also interacted with notice recipients and heard their feedback regarding the process.

Officials were directed to ensure that the hearing process is conducted smoothly, transparently and in accordance with Election Commission guidelines, while providing necessary assistance and guidance to voters.
