Godavari river is witnessing large-scale floods due to heavy rains in parts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Godavari touched the second highest flood level of 71 feet after 35 years near Bhadrachalam town. Nearly 25,975 people from as many as 95 flood affected villages continue to stay in 78 relief camps including Bhadrachalam town.
