SHG: Sangam SHG, Namin Village.
Meeting of Sangam SHG of Namin Village, under Samlick Marchak GPU, was held on 20 August 2026 at Namin. The meeting was attended by the President, Secretary, and all the members of the SHG. The Block Project Manager (BPM), BMMU Martam, SRLM-RDD, was also present.
The main agenda of the meeting was to revive the inactive SHG and resume its functioning in accordance with the guidelines of the National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM). The SHG had remained inactive for a long period.
During the meeting, all the existing members unanimously expressed their willingness to revive the SHG and continue its activities from where they had discontinued. The members made a strong resolution to regularly conduct SHG meetings, maintain proper records, promote savings, and undertake all activities as per NRLM guidelines.
Further strengthen the group, three new members were also inducted into the SHG. During the visit, the BPM, BMMU Martam, examined the Books of Records and financial transactions of the SHG. It was observed that the SHG had no outstanding loan liability towards the WDS or Bank. It was also verified that none of the members had any outstanding internal loan from the SHG.
Block Project Manager,explained to each member the importance of regular savings, proper maintenance of records, timely repayment of loans, and continued participation in SHG activities. The members were encouraged to conduct regular meetings and maintain the group’s activities in a disciplined manner as per NRLM guidelines.
The minutes of the meeting were read out and confirmed by the members.
Finally, the meeting concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Mrs. Ambika Sharma, President of Sangam SHG. The members expressed their commitment to work collectively for the revival and strengthening of the SHG.
