India is pushing for a cleaner, safer digital space 🌐🛡️

Ministry of Information & Broadcasting:

We are focused on keeping the internet free from unlawful content, especially vulgar and obscene material."

The IT Act 2000 + IT Rules 2021 create a clear framework to tackle harmful content online and hold intermediaries accountable for what’s shared on their platforms.

Modi Govt’s DELIMITATION blueprint comes into focus 🎯🇮🇳

Reports suggest the Centre may call a special session after August 15 to push major electoral reforms.

Key reported provisions:
▪️ Around 50% increase in the strength of Lok Sabha and State Assemblies, wherever feasible
▪️ One-third women’s reservation to apply vertically, including within SC and ST reserved seats
▪️ Proposed constitutional amendments to Articles 55, 81, 82, 170, 330, 332 & 334A

Govt’s top priority: Ensure Women’s Reservation before the 2029 Lok Sabha elections 👏

बिहार सरकार का सराहनीय कदम 👏

SC/ST (अत्याचार निवारण) अधिनियम 1989 के मामलों के त्वरित निपटारे के लिए 19 जिलों में नए विशेष न्यायालय खोले जाएंगे।

जिले: पश्चिम चंपारण, मधुबनी, भोजपुर, सिवान, अररिया, सुपौल, खगड़िया, जहानाबाद, बक्सर, जमुई, कैमूर, कटिहार, सीतामढ़ी, मुंगेर, मधेपुरा, बांका, शेखपुरा, औरंगाबाद, लखीसराय।

साथ ही 171 नए पद सृजित।
यह न्याय में देरी खत्म कर पीड़ितों को समय पर न्याय दिलाने की दिशा में बड़ा कदम है।

Meanwhile in PoJK right now: rapes, murders for demanding rights, and even Pro-Jihadi media like Al Jazeera English banned.

You’ll be thrown out by Munir like a housefly from milk. Next time tweet this from jail or abroad.

This is the same guy Donald J. Trump kicked out as official mediator with Iran. He doesn’t get it — the more he talks about Kashmir, Land of Kashyap Muni, the more India gets to show the stark difference between J&K and PoJK. That only fuels resentment in PoJK where locals are demanding rights.

He loves talking about referendum. Did he hold one before gifting part of PoJK to China?
He calls J&K "disputed", yet gave away its land to China and cries to the world like everyone’s dumb.

No talk on Kashmir till China vacates even one inch.
Go beg China to give it back. Then we’ll talk.

But what can you explain to them? If Pakistanis had any sense, would they be doing this enmity with India?

लगता है दवाई एकदम सही जगह पड़ी है 💊

अगर भारत की संसद विदेशी फंडिंग से जुड़े FCRA नियमों को और सख्त करने जा रही है, तो अमेरिका के एक सांसद को इतनी बेचैनी क्यों?

उनका कहना है प्रस्तावित बदलाव "ईसाई समुदाय पर सीधा हमला" है और इससे सरकार को चर्चों तथा धार्मिक परोपकारी संस्थाओं पर नियंत्रण का अधिकार मिल जाएगा।

इस बयान से एक सवाल सीधा खड़ा होता है - क्या NGO की आड़ में विदेशी फंडिंग का इस्तेमाल भारत में धर्मांतरण जैसी गतिविधियों के लिए किया जाता है? वरना इस प्रतिक्रिया का क्या तुक है?

कुछ समय पहले अमेरिका के विदेश मंत्री की भारत यात्रा कोलकाता में मदर टेरेसा की संस्था से शुरू हुई थी। उस संस्था पर अतीत में धर्मांतरण के आरोप भी लगे हैं। तभी से चर्चा थी कि अमेरिका FCRA बदलाव को लेकर भारत पर दबाव बनाएगा। अब इस अमेरिकी कांग्रेस सांसद के बयान से वह चर्चा और मजबूत हुई है।

भारत के आंतरिक कानून और संप्रभुता पर बाहरी टिप्पणी स्वीकार्य नहीं है।
