প্রাতঃ স্মরণীয় মনীষী বিদ্যাসাগর এর স্মৃতি ধন্য এই বিদ্যালয় আমাদের গর্ব।

উনবিংশ শতাব্দির শেষ দশকে বিদ্যাসাগর মহাশয় মেমারির জমিদার নন্দলাল ঘোষ মহশয় কে পরামশ দেন মেমারিতে একটি বিদ্যালয় স্থাপন করার । ১৮৯২ সালে ২৯ সেপ্টেম্বর বিদ্যাসাগর এর জন্মদিনে তাঁর স্মৃতির উদ্দেশে নন্দলাল বাবু মেমারিতে একটি বিদ্যালয় স্থাপন করেন ‘মেমারি বিদ্যাসাগর স্মৃতি বিদ্যামন্দির’। পরবতি কালে এর কলেবার বৃদ্ধি পাওয়ায় বিদ

্যালায়টি দুটি শাখায় ভাগ হায়ে যায় –

১।মেমারি বিদ্যাসাগর স্মৃতি বিদ্যামান্দির শাখা-১
এবং
২। মেমারি বিদ্যাসাগর স্মৃতি বিদ্যামন্দির শাখা- ২
