Vigilance Outreach Program | 22.07.2026

The Anti-Corruption & Vigilance Council of India (ACVCI) successfully conducted a Vigilance Outreach Program at St. Joseph's College (Arts & Science), Kovur, Chennai, empowering students with the values of integrity, vigilance, transparency, and ethical leadership.

The program was organized under the guidance and instructions of Hon'ble National Chairman Shri M. Sam Prakash, reaffirming ACVCI's commitment to nurturing a generation that stands for honesty and accountability.

ACVCI National Chairman Shri M. Sam Prakash called on Hon’ble Thiru Vanni Arasu, Minister for Social Justice, Government of Tamil Nadu, and discussed the Caretakers Enhancement Program (The Prohibition of Employment as Manual Scavengers and their Rehabilitation Act, 2013).

The discussion focused on strengthening awareness, rehabilitation measures, occupational safety, welfare schemes, and social inclusion for Safai Karamcharis and sanitation workers across Tamil Nadu.

Anti Corruption and Vigilance Council of India (ACVCI), in cooperation with the Tamil Nadu Cleanliness Workers Welfare Board, Government of Tamil Nadu, successfully conducted the Caretakers Enhancement Program recommended by the National Commission for Safai Karamcharis (NCSK), Government of India.

The program was held in Coimbatore District, Tamil Nadu, under the leadership of Shri M. Sam Prakash, National Chairman, ACVCI.

The program created awareness on the welfare, safety, health, dignity, and rights of Safai Karamcharis, including the effective implementation of the Prohibition of Employment as Manual Scavengers and their Rehabilitation Act, 2013 (MS Act, 2013).

As part of the welfare initiatives, a Medical Camp was organized, and Medical Safety Kits were distributed to sanitation workers. The program focused on enhancing awareness, welfare, safety, health, and social empowerment of Safai Karamcharis, recognizing their invaluable contribution to society and promoting their overall well-being.

The Anti Corruption & Vigilance Council of India (ACVCI) successfully conducted a “Vigilance Outreach Program” at Vidya Vikas Matric Higher Secondary School, Moranam, Thiruvannamalai District, creating awareness among students about integrity, vigilance, and anti-corruption values.

The program was organized under the instructions of Hon’ble National Chairman Shri M. Sam Prakash.

The event was led by Dr. S.M. Paarthiban – State General Secretary, Tamil Nadu.

The session featured Chief Guest Dr. V. Kesavan – State Vice President, Tamil Nadu, who addressed the students and highlighted the importance of ethical values and vigilance in building a corruption-free society.
