It is a non-profit, non-governmental organization involved in bringing smiles in the lives of people who have no one to care for. Charis Foundation charitable trust founded in 2004 with a mission to care for and provide
shelter to the poor and orphaned children lacking food, love and affection with no hope of a good future in a bustling Metropolitan like Chennai. The results of the surveys conduct

ed on the living conditions of the abandoned children pointed to the children wasting their meager money earned from hard labor in illicit pleasures, leading them to delinquency. Charis Foundation has given a new aroma to their living. It has started with a noble cause and gesture towards the affected parts of society. 40 children . residing with us are given shelter Medical ,food and clothing
All the children are put in nearby schools and transportation arranged for them. Children with
caliber study in English medium schools, while special coaching is being provided to children in
tamilmedium so that they can be transferred to English medium later.Volunteers engage children by teaching . We make sure that our children grow up in spiritual ethic standard. Sports, music, drawings and organized for developing their potentiality.
