With regards to the post by the Organisers of Global Gorkhaland Unity March..

We at Citizens' Forum For Gorkhaland have not received any kind of formal invitation from the organisers with regards to partnership for the 'Gorkha Plegde'.

Hence we are not a part of the 'Gorkha Plegde' organised by the Global Gorkhaland unity March.

Any contributions made in our name will have no significance with us and Citizens'Forum will not be liable for the funds.

Citizens'Forum met with the Chief Justice P.C Ghose and have submitted an application to the National Human Rights Commission..He has assured us that he will look into the matter and will send a team after the necessary steps have been taken.

The Human Rights Violation in the hills have been looked into with much sympathy. Necessary correspondence have been made and the response is awaited.

Citizens' Forum for Gorkhaland have been consistently providing the relief for Food and essential commodities to the drastically deprived areas due to food blockade by WB Govt.

We have managed to provide more than 400 + relief materials to the deprived areas in areas of Dilaram, Maldhura, Maharani, Rangli and Sepoydhura.

A heartfelt thanks to all the people who made this possible especially our donors (who chose to remain anonymous), volunteers and coordinators.
