🌏🐘 Celebrating World Elephant Day 2026! 🐘🌿

WWF-EIACP PC-RP, with the support of MoEF&CC, organised an awareness programme at Delhi Public School, Faridabad, as part of World Elephant day and school’s week-long SEWAM celebrations.

The celebration brought together students through engaging activities including Mission LiFE documentary screening, Mission LiFE Pledge, Air Pollution Pledge . More than 1,000 students participated in the Pledge, demonstrating their collective commitment to protecting elephants and wildlife.

The programme also featured a student-led play on elephant conservation, tree plantation activity, SEWAM Pledge, an infographic competition and interactive learning sessions. Prizes were awarded to the top six infographic competition winners, while appreciation certificates recognised students for their active participation.

Through these initiatives, students were encouraged to turn awareness into action and embrace compassion, conservation and sustainable lifestyles. 🌱🐘

Together, let’s protect elephants, conserve biodiversity and build a sustainable future! πŸ’š

🌿 Awareness for Sustainable Living 🌿

WWF-EIACP PC-RP, in collaboration with the National Zoological Park, successfully concluded its awareness campaign on sustainable food habits. More than 1,000 visitors were sensitized on reducing food waste, creating terrace and home gardens, and converting kitchen waste into organic manure.

As a token of appreciation, 500 wildlife badges were distributed to participants who pledged to adopt sustainable practices.

On the occasion of World Environment Day 2026, WWF-EIACP in collaboration with the National Zoological Park, New Delhi, participated in the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" plantation drive, promoting a greener and more sustainable future.🌱🌿

With enthusiastic participation from individuals, saplings were planted and a pledge was taken to protect the environment, enhance green cover, and contribute towards sustainable development.

Every tree planted today is a step towards a healthier planet for future generations. πŸ’š
