Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh alleged that central agencies and institutions were being misused during elections, raising concerns about the fairness of the democratic process.

In a post on X, Singh referred to the role of agencies such as the Enforcement Directorate, Central Bureau of Investigation and the Election Commission, and claimed that large-scale deployment of central forces and administrative changes had impacted the electoral environment.

He also alleged that a significant number of voters were deprived of their voting rights through revision processes, and criticised the narrative following the defeat of the Trinamool Congress.

“ If this is democracy, then what is dictatorship?” Singh asked.
