Directorate of Gurdwara Elections, Govt. of N.C.T of Delhi was established in the year 1974 by an Act of Parliament called the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Act, 1971.

Directorate of Gurdwara Elections, GNCTD is conducting Revision of its Electoral Rolls, w.e.f. 1 Jan 2021 as qualifying date. The last date for submission of claims and objections is, 11 Dec 2020. Apart from the banners and posters all around, at prominent Gurdwaras and Public places, Directorate of Gurdwara Elections has made arrangements of Autorickshaws, with pre-recorded message, making rounds in the wards of Delhi, to spread awareness about electoral revision amongst Sikh citizens of Delhi. All eligible Sikh citizens of Delhi are requested to take part in the process; ensure their enrollment in the Delhi Sikh Electoral Rolls, to be able to cast vote, in the upcoming elections of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee.
