Sarvangasana is a powerful pose with lots of health benefits as it stimulates thyroid and prostate glands and abdominal organs,
Calms the brainand helps relieve stress and mild depression , relieve the symptoms of menopausal transition and so on ....

Here is a tip for those who have cervical problem or they are beginners , they can start practicing with the help of the chair or with the wall support (same as shown in the video clip).
Go slow in the beginning and keep practicing like this to tune your neck and shoulders to get it done comfortably.

Chakravakasana

Chakravakasana or cat-cow pose is not only a stretch for your spine, it's an easy yet powerful pose for your endocrine system that stimulates your glands and brings hormonal balance to your body.

The repeated movements with proper breathing gives a gentle massage to the internal muscles and organs giving room for the activation of adrenal glands. Adrenal glands produce hormones that help regulate your metabolism, immune system, blood pressure and response to stress.

The pancreas is just below the stomach and the movement of the muscles around the lower abdomen in the practice of chakravakasana activates the pancreas and helps to function well.The functioning of pancreas keeps the check on the bloodsugar level with the secretion of the insulin.

Through the movement of the spine and abdomen in this pose, a gentle massage is given to the uterus and the ovaries, enabling a smooth functioning of the reproductive system. This plays an important role in women's life.

A good pose for pregnant women as well.The breathing involved in this pose is considered good for keeping the mind calm and giving better growth to the fetus.

Those who have knee problems or injury can keep a folded towel or blanket under knees. They can even practice the same while sitting on a chair and get all the benefits of this movement.
