Swachhata Hi Seva 2026

As part of Swachhata Hi Seva 2026, dedicated sessions for Sarpanchs from Gujarat were conducted on 25 and 26 September 2026, focusing on the campaign’s key activities and the ongoing Jan Bhaagidari for Swachhata and Swachhata se Samriddhi pillar, with special emphasis on Sports for Swachhata, Kabaad se Jugaad and Kabaad se Kala.

The sessions were organised to familiarise Sarpanchs with Swachhata Hi Seva 2026, an initiative of the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation (DDWS), Ministry of Jal Shakti, and encourage their active participation in the campaign at the grassroots.

Led by the Sarpanch Samvaad team, the sessions highlighted the importance of community participation and collective action in making Swachhata a sustained movement across Gram Panchayats.

This Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) 2026, let’s turn waste into opportunities and Swachhata into Samriddhi in our Gram Panchayats.

Swachhata Hi Seva 2026

As part of Swachhata Hi Seva 2026, the Sarpanch Samvaad team conducted dedicated Hindi-language sessions for Sarpanchs across multiple batches on 25 and 26 September 2026, with a special focus on the theme of Swachhata Se Samriddhi.

The sessions were organised to familiarise Sarpanchs with the Swachhata Se Samriddhi pillar of the campaign and highlight how cleanliness and effective waste management can contribute to sustainable livelihoods, resource recovery and community development at the grassroots.

The discussions focused on initiatives such as Kabaad Se Jugaad and Kabaad Se Kala, encouraging Gram Panchayats to explore creative and productive ways of reusing waste and turning discarded materials into useful products and art.

The sessions also highlighted the role of Sarpanchs and community participation in promoting responsible waste management, creating local opportunities and building cleaner, more sustainable and economically vibrant Gram Panchayats.

Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 | Sports for Swachhata

As part of Swachhata Hi Seva 2026, Sarpanch Samvaad conducted a session on 24 September 2026 to familiarise Sarpanchs with the campaign’s key activities, with a special focus on the ongoing Jan Bhaagidari for Swachhata pillar and Sports for Swachhata.

The session, led by the Sarpanch Samvaad team, featured a special address by Himanshu Patel (Himanshu Patel), Co-opted Member, QCI Governing Body and former Sarpanch of Punsari Gram Panchayat.

The discussion highlighted how Gram Panchayats can bring communities together through inclusive, zero-waste sports activities while promoting cleanliness, responsible waste management and collective participation.

Under Swachhata Hi Seva 2026, Gram Panchayats can organise Zero-Waste Sports Events that combine sports, community participation and responsible waste management, ensuring that the event generates minimal waste and that waste is segregated and managed responsibly.
