Empowering Minds Society for Research and Development (EM) was set up in the year 2007. In 2009, EM was registered under the Societies Registration Act.
In 2009, EM was registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860. EM has its registered office at New Delhi and its project office at Vaishali, Ghaziabad. EM employs innovative, experiential and participative methodologies in the projects. Empowering Minds has developed a special niche in the following areas:

• Research (Action Research & Survey Research)
• Community Participation & Awareness
• Change Management The organisation has been working in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh since April, 2009. It has two community school in UP which provides formal and non-formal education to the out-of-school, drop outs and working children. In the short span of one and a half years, Empowering Minds has implemented various projects in the areas of: Gender Balance, health, formation of SHGs of women for poverty alleviation, training programme for ICDS functionaries, research in the field of HIV/AIDS, baseline survey on child protection and rights and quality of life issues on Hemophilia etc.

Happy Janamasthami to everyone. The Empowering Minds Education Children enjoyed today by dressing themselves as Radha and Krishna and performed songs, dance and Bhajan’s. We had all types of Krishna from very shy to nat khat to loud Krishna who wanted to perform in each act. and there was Radha who kept on trying to help and support him ❤️

During the Pandemic Menstrual Hygiene has suffered a lot. This year highlight the importance of good menstrual hygiene through online campaigns and raised funds to distribute sanitation and hygiene products in the community. Online and offline awareness program was conducted for Girls and Women in community.

Breaking the stigma!
An informative session on Menstrual Hygiene was conducted for girl students at Empowering Minds. The interactive session aimed at increasing the awareness regarding menstruation and healthy practices to be followed.
We continue to stand with the vulnerable members of society, this year we set the goal of providing access to sanitary and hygiene products for women in India. On Occasion of World Hemophilia Day, 2022 Power In Me Foundation is bringing a live talk where International Mental Health Expert Dr. Richa Mohan, Empowering Minds Society for Research & Development discusses about mental health issues among Hemophilia & Bleeding Disorder Patients and their families With Manoj Kumar Singh, Trustee & National President of Power In Me Foundation.
Our NGO partner Empowering Minds Society for Research & Development is working in urban slums colloquially called 'jhuggis' in Ghaziabad. During the they are helping slum dwellers with cash support, monthly ration kit comprising 25kgs of rice, 5kgs of daal, 2kgs of sugar, 10kgs of atta, 5lts of oil, and sanitation kits including 2lts phenyl, 2 hand sanitizers, 1 soap set, 1 dettol liquid handwash with free soap. Here’s their President and Director Richa Mohan talking about the onground work and the relentless work of the volunteers.

Empowering Minds organised a National Conference on Mental Health and Bleeding Disorders on 31st August and 1st September 2019 in New Delhi at Hotel The LaLit. The conference was a celebration, as it marked the 10th Anniverary of Empowering Minds and 10 years of Parents Empowering Parents Program in India. The International PEP program was adapted to the Indian culture and started with a grant support from Novo Nordisk Hemophilia Foundation.
Special Thanks to Novo Nordisk Hemophilia Foundation for believing in the program and supporting it through 2 grants to cover the whole country. There are many quantitative and qualititative achievements of the projects and the impact it created in the people is worth mentioning. Thanks to Hemophilia Federation India for jointly implementing the program :)

Easy Company, Group S17, is working with the NGO Empowering Minds Society for Research & Development to give coaching classes for the community children. At Arthala Bal Vidyalaya, the team, under the guidance of the NGO, gives after-school remedial classes for the weaker children from the center as well as for the children from the other schools in the community, with a special focus on the government school children. Using innovative methods, Easy Company tries to motivate the students and generate interests among them about studies.

The Sustainability and Social Responsibility (SSR) Course launched on October 1, 2016 as part of the 'I'M The Change' Initiative took another significant step ahead as twelve partner organisations (Nagar Nigam Ghaziabad, District Magistrate's Office, Ghaziabad, Agewell Foundation, AROH Foundation, Asha Deep Foundation, Empowering Minds Society for Research & Development, Project KHEL, Smile Foundation, Social and Development Research and Action Group (SADRAG), Sshrishti India Trust, Teach For India, Udayan Care) visited our campus on Saturday, October 15, 2016.
They undertook in-depth mentoring sessions with the respective set of students who will be working with them. As many as 74 groups (each of six students) will be working in collaboration with the partner organisations on more than 40 different broad categories of social projects spread across Delhi NCR.
