In an endeavour to strengthen procurement practices, Government e Marketplace (GeM) inked an MoU with (National Institute of Labour Economics Research and Development) today in New Delhi. On behalf of the organisations, Shri Prakash Mirani, JS & ACEO, GeM, and Shri Jayant Singh, DG, NILERD, signed the MoU.
This collaboration aims to strengthen capacity-building initiatives through collaborative workshops and specialised training sessions for Central and State Government Ministries, Departments, and Public Sector Units (PSUs).
Through this concerted effort, both, GeM and NILERD, aim to equip stakeholders with the necessary knowledge and skills to navigate procurement processes effectively.

GeM has crossed the ₹4 Lakh Crore GMV milestone! During a media address, Shri PK Singh, CEO of GeM, shared insights into the remarkable GMV growth achieved in the fiscal year 2023-24.
This milestone represents a doubling of GeM's GMV from the previous fiscal year. He emphasized GeM's digital advancements, highlighting its unique capabilities in enhancing efficiency and transparency in public procurement.

गवर्नमेंट ई मार्केटप्लेस (जेम) ने चालू वित्त वर्ष में 4 लाख करोड़ रुपये के सकल व्यापारी मूल्य (जीएमवी) के रिकॉर्ड स्तर को हासिल किया है।
इस अवसर पर जेम के मुख्य कार्याधिकारी श्री पी. के. सिंह, ने सभी क्रेताओं और विक्रेताओं को इस उपलब्धि का श्रेय दिया।
