Goodwill Ambassadors Worldwide is a specialized program of the Blue Cross & Blue Crescent Movement, established under the framework of our UN-ECOSOC Special Consultative Status, designed to document, celebrate, and promote the impact and influence of Goodwill Ambassadors across the globe.

🕊️ Mission & Purpose
Our mission is to:

Report on the efforts and activities of Goodwill Ambassadors across BC’s partner agencies, including:

International Committee of the Blue Cross & Blue Crescent (ICBC)

International Federation of Blue Cross & Blue Crescent Societies (IFBC)

Federation of International Blue Cross & Blue Crescent Organisations (FIBCO)

Provide insight into Goodwill Ambassador activities across global platforms like the United Nations, Red Cross Red Crescent, and other international bodies.

Serve as a public portal to witness the value, influence, and work performed by these iconic humanitarian figures.

⭐ What Makes a Goodwill Ambassador?
Goodwill Ambassadors are:

Public figures, celebrities, artists, athletes, academics, and professionals who represent humanitarian values and advocate for global causes.

Individuals selected for their fame, heritage, popularity, moral stature, charisma, social influence, or unique ability to mobilize public sentiment and resources.

Committed to promoting messages of hope, peace, justice, equality, and humanitarianism, in alignment with the BC Movement’s motto: "For All Humanity".

Goodwill Ambassadors Worldwide is a program of the Blue Cross and Blue Crescent movement (an UN-ECOSOC Special Consultative Status), that reports on the news and performance of Goodwill Ambassadors. We provide general information about activities and events relative to Goodwill Ambassadors of our bilateral partner agencies and of our partner organisations, as well as Goodwill Ambassadors of other organiations such as the UN and their agencies, Red Cross Red Crescent and their agencies etc.. and through this platform provide an opportunity for the public to see the work performed by Goodwill Ambassadors, whilst popularising the notability of Goodwill Ambassadors.

The Goodwill Ambassadors of the World program is a concept inspired by the United Nations, and since it began the UN Goodwill Ambassador Program has reached to other international organizations like the Red Cross and Red Crescent, and many others. Our program recognises the good works and virtue of our own goodwill ambassadors, such as ICBC Goodwill Ambassdors, IFBC Goodwill Ambassadors etc.

The work performed by goodwill ambassadors is absolutely essential in raising necessary public awareness to the various causes. Many goodwill ambassadors are often celebrities or people extraordinarily well noted in their career or profession. Goodwill Ambassadors are respectable, professional, well-presented, and decent individuals selected based on their public appeal, celebrity, fame, notability, heritage, popularity, social connections, or ability to network for a particular cause that brings great change to a cause.
