Ghulam Hassan Mir Visits Several Areas to Offer Condolences, Shares Grief with Bereaved Families

Tangmarg, 31 May ;- Former Cabinet Minister and Apni Party Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir today visited Kongamdara, Sherabad Khore, Mughama, Gonipora, and Heer to offer condolences to families who have recently suffered bereavements.

During his visits, Mir met the bereaved families, expressed his heartfelt sympathies, and prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls. He conveyed his solidarity with the grieving families and prayed that Almighty Allah grants them strength, patience, and courage to bear their immense loss.

Speaking on the occasion, Ghulam Hassan Mir said that sharing the pain and sorrow of those who have lost their loved ones is a moral and social responsibility. He prayed for Jannat-ul-Firdous for the deceased and for comfort and resilience for the bereaved families during this difficult time.

Srinagar, 31 May :- Former Cabinet Minister and Apni Party Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir has expressed deep shock and sorrow over the tragic demise of a three-year-old child, son of Mohammad Unus of Chanapora Tangmarg, who lost his life in a drowning incident.

In his condolence message, Mir described the incident as heartbreaking and unbearable, saying that the loss of a young child is a tragedy beyond words and leaves an irreplaceable void in the lives of the family. He extended his heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the bereaved parents and other family members during this difficult time.

Mir prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and asked Almighty Allah to grant courage, strength, and patience to the grieving family to bear this immense loss.

Srinagar, May 26, 2026: Apni Party delegation, led by the party's Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir, visited Galwanpora in central Kashmir's Budgam district today to express profound grief and offer heartfelt condolences to the family of the 12-year-old girl whose tragic and brutal death has sent shockwaves across the region.
The party delegation met with the grieving family, sharing their deepest sympathies during this hour of unimaginable loss and sorrow.
Speaking to the bereaved family, Ghulam Hassan Mir strongly condemned the heinous crime, describing it as a deeply distressing incident that has shaken the collective conscience of society. Urges Spirit of Sacrifice, Brotherhood and Compassion

Srinagar, 26 May :- Former Cabinet Minister and Apni Party Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir has extended warm greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.

In his message, Mir said that Eid-ul-Azha is a festival that symbolizes sacrifice, compassion, brotherhood and unwavering faith. He urged people to celebrate the occasion with humility and kindness while remembering the poor, needy and underprivileged sections of society.

He prayed for lasting peace, prosperity and progress in Jammu and Kashmir and expressed hope that the blessed occasion would strengthen the bonds of unity, harmony and mutual respect among people.

Apni Party stages protest against brutal Budgam r**e and murder, demands exemplary punishment for culprit



Srinagar, May 25: In a strong display of anger and solidarity, leaders and senior workers of Apni Party on Monday staged a protest demonstration and candlelight vigil against the horrific incident of r**e and murder of a minor girl in Galwanpora area of Budgam district, an incident that has sent shockwaves across Kashmir and sparked widespread outrage. Party’s Provincial President Mohammad Ashraf Mir led this protest.

Holding placards and candles, the protesting leaders condemned the barbaric crime in the strongest possible terms and demanded the harshest possible punishment for the involved.

The demonstrators described the incident as a “crime against humanity” and said that such acts have deeply wounded the conscience of society.

Speaking during the protest, Mohammad Ashraf Mir expressed profound grief over the tragic incident and extended unwavering support and solidarity to the bereaved family.

He said the “brutal killing has shaken every human heart and underscored the urgent need for stronger societal and institutional measures to protect children and ensure women’s safety.”

Mir demanded “a fast track trail of the case so that the involved could be severely punished as soon as possible. He appealed the legal fertility no to plead for the guilty. He warned that if the process of justice is delayed he would go for a hunger strike. He also appealed religious leaders to join this moment for justice.”

“This is not merely a crime; it is an act of unimaginable brutality that has horrified the entire society. Only a beast devoid of humanity could commit such a heinous act,” the protesting leaders said while demanding that justice be delivered swiftly and without compromise.

The party leaders demanded that the guilty must be brought to justice at the earliest. They emphasised that crimes of such horrific nature must serve as a wake-up call for society to unite against violence and moral decay.
