Assam’s young swimmers continued their strong showing at the 52nd Junior National Aquatic Championship 2026, securing 1 Gold and 1 Bronze Medal on Day 2.

A strong showing by Assam’s young swimmers as they secured 1 Gold and 2 Silver Medals at the championship.

Heartiest congratulations to Devika Sarma for winning the Gold Medal in the Girls’ 20–24 years age group at the National Triathlon Championship 2026, held in Pune.

Congratulations also to Nupur Deka for securing Gold in the Girls’ 25–29 years age group, and Tushar Deka for winning Bronze in the Boys’ 20–24 years age group.

Three outstanding performances, three proud moments, and another reason to celebrate Assam’s growing sporting talent. Congratulations to all the athletes for bringing laurels to the state! 🇮🇳

🏆♟️ Proud Moment for Assam in International Chess!

Heartiest congratulations to Tanmay Rajbongshi on becoming the Champion in the Under-16 category at the 24th ASEAN+ Age Group Chess Championship 2026, held in Singapore from 7–17 August 2026.

Congratulations also to Abhrojyoty Nath for securing a remarkable Joint 3rd position (overall 5th) in the Under-16 category.

Both young chess talents proudly represented Assam and India on the international stage, bringing laurels to the state and the nation. They were accompanied and guided by their coach Ravi Kant Tiwari.

A remarkable achievement and an inspiration for the next generation of chess players. ♟️🇮🇳
