1.One stop centre,Kyongsha Gyalshing District observed "SWACHHATA PAKHWADA" ,2022 for creating awareness regarding cleaniness, hygiene and sanitation amongst farmers and society as per central guidelines.
The main objective was to bring a fortnight of intense focus on issues and practices of the 'Swachhta' by engaging all the government institutes in their jurisdiction.
2.On 14th March, 2022, ONE STOP CENTRE observed the 'Swachhta' primarily by cleaning all the premises of AYUSH Hospital and OSC'S premises following the Covid 19 protocols such as sanitizing the Office's properties and using face masks.
3.On 15th March,2022 on-line Swachhta theme- based painting/sketching competition was arranged for OSC'S staff, volunteers of NYK and representative from Piramal foundation and as well as AWW of ICDS Department.
The on-line webinar was addressed by Miss Pema Yanki Bhutia, Centre Administrator of OSC, Kyongsha, Gyalshing District. She highlighted upon the relevancy of sanitation as stated by the 'Father of Nation', Mahatma Gandhi as "Cleanliness is next to godliness and rightly so".
The on-line painting competition was held amongst OSC'S staff, NYKS's Volunteers and Piramal Foundation in which the first painting was bagged by OSC'S Centre Administrator Ms. Pema Yanki Bhutia and second position bagged by Mr. Kuntal Pal, District Facilitator , Piramal Foundation.
The Jury members for the on-line painting competition were :- Miss.Sangay Choden Bhutia, Counsellor OSC ,Mrs.Bhawana Rai ,case worker,OSC and Miss.Yasoda Chettri,IT staff OSC.

In the concluding part the webinar was followed by taking the Swachhta pledge :

'Now it is our duty to serve Mother India by keeping the country neat and clean.
I take this pledge that I will remain committed towards Cleanliness and devote time for this.
I will devote 100 hours per year , that is two hours per week,to voluntarily work for cleanliness'.

On 29th Nov, 2021, One Stop Centre, Kyongsha, West Sikkim organised an awareness programme to observe the International Day for Elimination of Violence against Women which was on 25th Nov, 2021. The theme of this year was - 'Orange the World'.
The Cheif Guest of the programme was Mr. H.B. Shanker, CDPO, West Sikkim. Special guests were Mr. Dev Nepal, District Youth Officer, NYKS and Police personnel, Mr. Norgay Bhutia and Mr. Chinta Mani Sharma, from Gyalshing OP, West Sikkim. The programme was attended by volunteers from NYKS and general public.
The topics that were discussed were:
- Elimination of Violence Against Women and the theme of the year
- Causes and Awareness on Mental Health triggered by different forms of violence
- Violence inflicted upon children and women and its impacts
- Awareness on different Women centric schemes and the services provided by the OSC
The programme was successfully concluded with the distribution of pamphlets and refreshments.

In view of the current extended state-wide lockdown(2021), and the rapid upsurge of N-COVID Cases in the State, the ONE STOP CENTRE TEAM ,GYALSHING, West District, initiated by the Centre Administrator, Ms.Pema Yanki Bhutia held a concise video-conference Meeting via Google –Meet on the Day.

She delivered her talk on the effective co-ordination among Staff of OSC and handling every cases of women and child with a view to ensure speedy assistance to the victims of any kind of abuse, be it physical, psychological, financial and sexual on women and child.

The Video- Conference Meet was all about emphasizing the Advisory Notice drawn by SSCW, Govt.of Sikkim, dated;01.05.2021 for redressal of Domestic Violence at the District.
For such conditions, all the functionaries of OSC were hereby notified to be alert and remain updated so as to solve any form of violence, in lieu of the current lockdown period.
If in case any kind of such incidents persists in the District, then it is anticipated that the victim are advised to report and seek redressal on the following Phone Numbers:

Another case of 'Domestic Violence' including 'Bigamy' was reported by the Aggrieved Woman at "Sakhi" One Stop Centre, Gyalshing, West Sikkim on 4th, September, 2020. The case had been forwarded to One Stop Centre (OSC),Gyalshing, West Sikkim on 1st, September, 2020 by the Sikkim State Commission for Women, Gangtok, East Sikkim.
The distressed lady was informed about her legal rights and her concerns regarding her problems that were heard by the One Stop Centre's Officials .
After hearing her grievances and afflictions that had been sustained by the lady, the OSC's Officials and Service Providers directed the panel lawyers of Domestic Violence to assist Aggrieved Woman and provide her legal rights, thereby granting the requisite benefits from her said husband.

Today is World Senior Citizens' Day (21 August). The day was first proclaimed by the General Assembly of the United Nations on December 14,1990.
The Day is known to increase awareness of the factors and issues that affect older adults, such as age deterioration and the study of problems that affect their lives,elder abuse..
We had some team management Campaign from different areas of West District, Sikkim to recognise and acknowledge the contribution of older people to society.
**also recognized for well being of the elderly to recognise and appreciate their accomplishments and their participation in society in order to promote their skills and knowledge.
