Today on 3rd September, 2026 a District Level Awareness Programme on Artificial Insemination under ALDA was organized by A.H & Veterinary Department, Hailakandi.
The programme was held in the presence of Hon'ble MLA Dr. Milon Das, Hailakandi Constituency, Asstt. Commissioner Sri Kishan Chorei, Head & Senior Scientist KVK Dr. Bijoy Chetri, Joint Director (Silchar Zone) A.H & Veterinary Department Dr. Deepak Kr. Das, District Veterinary Officer Hailakandi Dr. Jayanta Kumar Talukdar.

About 230 Nos. of Participants from Livestock Farmer, MAITRI, SVFA, VFA, VO, BVO and Members of Dairy Co-operative Societies attended in this Programme. One exhibition was arranged successfully on S*x Sorted A.I born calves, Fodder and A.I related instruments and logistics and also distributed a packet with feed supplements to all the Dairy farmers present in this programme.

Today A.H and Veterinary Department, Hailakandi participated in the 77th Republic Day celebration at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Stadiu, Hailakandi and Display a Tableau, where theme was “Be Self Employed by Dairy Farming” and Boost-up Milk Production by using Artificial Insemination with S*x Sorted Semen and get 90% Guaranteed Female Calf and increase the dairy farmer income.
