𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬' 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐟𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐦 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝, 𝐎𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐀𝐆𝐀𝐈𝐍!
A major Kerala Muslim organisation has issued a Fatwa calling for Muslim women to be kept off public stages and away from shared spaces with men. The message is clear: women’s visibility and participation are off-limits.
Yet self-proclaimed champions of “Smashing the Patriarchy,” Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi, have offered zero condemnation. In Congress-ruled Kerala, this regressive order has met complete silence.
Had a non-Congress votebank organisation issued a similar order, Parliament would have erupted in outrage, with Opposition protests disrupting proceedings for entire sessions. But for Congress, electoral calculations appear to take priority, while Muslim women’s freedom and dignity are sidelined.
