TRIBUTE TO FORMER AZSU PRESIDENT, N.DISUANG HAU!

"GONE WITH THE WIND BUT YOUR GOOD WORKS & INDOMITABLE SPIRIT WILL LIVE ON FOREVER"

The Zeliangrong people are in a state of mourning today. Even as we pay our last respect and homage to the departed leader, let us re-commit ourselves once again to work and live out our lives for the cherished dream of the late leader for a united and strong Zeliangrong people with a common Homeland. Though he has left us upruptly in God's divine scheme of things, let us sincerely pray that God Almighty who took his life away will continue to use him in His heavenly abode to intercede for us.

All of us are feeling the extreme shock of the loss and the depleting trend by the passing away of many Zeliangrong leaders one after another. And yet all is not lost as God is going to bless us with many more committed leaders who will continue to work for the sublime cause of Zeliangrong people. All is well that ends well. That is the hope that we dearly hold. May the departed soul rest in peace but his vision will live on. During his life time he has walked across the length and breadth of the Zeliangrong country more frequently than anyone else addressing the grievances of the people. Zeliangrong people will ever remain indebted to him for his outstanding contributions.

Dear Achi, you disappeared suddenly away like a mist of the morning but please continue to work ceaselessly for your beloved people from heavenly abode. As you used to do on earth please convene a meeting along with other Zeliangrong stalwarts who had gone ahead of you to bring about something concrete for the Zeliangrong people. I'm earnestly appealing to you to do this favour because those departed leaders too will not find peace until the cherished dream of Zeliangrong people is realised. It is sincerely hoped that Zeliangrong people would soon establish a rightful place for themselves in the comity of tribes and nations through your prayers and intercession.

We will be missing you forever dear Achi!

Dear friends,

Today(i.e. 06/01/24) I visited our former Cabinet Minister, Apou Samuel Jendai who is undergoing treatment at Fortis Hospital, New Delhi. I offered my humble prayer on behalf of all those fellow Luangdaimai/Zeliangrong citizens who cannot come personally to see him for his speedy recovery. I'm immensely glad to inform you that he is getting much better from the time he was admitted some few days back.

I told him that many fellow Zeliangrongs are praying for him. He is fully conscious and was extremely happy to learn that his beloved people are praying for him.

At the end of the prayer and conversation I shouted Zeliangrong Ringtelou for him and he responded with full vigour and enthusiasm because - yes, I know he dearly loves this slogan of our people.

Please continue to uphold him in your loving prayers 🙏

PRAYER APPEAL FOR PEACE IN THE WORLD.

The war between Israel and Hamas is escalating each passing day and the death toll is increasing every passing hour. This war may engulf the whole region of West Asia or the Middle East and has the potential to become an international war if the " BIG POWERS" begin to involve in this conflict. I, therefore, earnestly to all peace-loving people across the world to pray for peace and early resolution of the conflict so that no more innocent lives are put to risk any further. Let peace & justice prevail in the world🙏.

Farewell to you dearest RK Athuan.

It was exactly around 9.40 pm on the eve (03/08/23) of your departure to the "Heavenly Abode" that we were talking so lively not knowing that it was going to be the last ever conversation with you. If I were to know that it was going to be the last, I would have recorded our full conversation for perpetual memory. I cannot forget the excitement you expressed to me that you would walk out free from that cruel Kolkata Prison Cell any time after 15th August. I also cannot forget the cherished dream you had for our beloved people to bring change, development and social justice. You told me with a resolute mind to work with full commitment for the betterment of our society once you are out from the Prison but come the next morning you left us all which shocked us beyond measure.

Dear Athuan, we commit ourselves to continue and work to fulfill your cherished dream of bringing change in our society. We will also continue to uphold your beloved family (wife, children & other family members) in our humble prayers.

May you find comfort and eternal salvation in heavenly abode where there is no more tears, pain and death. The vaccum you left behind would be impossible to be filled by anyone else. We will be missing you forever. God be with you 🙏
