Heartiest Congratulations to Dr. Korimayum Abdur Rahman

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Korimayum Abdur Rahman, beloved son of Korimayum Sukoi Shah (Abushahi) and Nurun Bibi, on being conferred the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physical Education from the Department of Physical Education, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh.

Under the supervision and guidance of Prof. Ikram Huissan, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, and Chairman of the Department of Physical Education, he successfully completed his doctoral thesis titled “Comparative Study of Sports Policy of North East States of India.”

Dr. Abdur Rahman completed his High School and Higher Secondary education at Hundred Flower Hr. Sec. School. He earned his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Philosophy from D.M. College of Arts. He further pursued Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.), Master of Physical Education (M.P.Ed.), and Ph.D. from the Department of Physical Education, Aligarh Muslim University.

Additionally, he qualified the NTA UGC-NET Examination in 2019. His academic achievements are further reflected in his research contributions, having published four international peer-reviewed research papers and one paper in a UGC-CARE listed journal.

His accomplishments are highly commendable, and the Manipur Students’ Association Aligarh (MSAA) wishes him success in all his future endeavors. Once again, we extend our sincere congratulations to him.

We are immensely proud of his dedication, perseverance, and scholarly excellence. We pray that Almighty Allah blesses him with continued success, good health, and many more accomplishments in his academic and professional journey.

Heartiest congratulations to Md. Mu Einuddin, son of Md. Fakhar Uddin and Atiya from Thoubal Moijing Awang Leikai, on his remarkable achievement of being selected for the UPSC CAPF (Assistant Commandants) Examination 2024.

Md. Mu Einuddin completed his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Geography from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) and is currently a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in the Geography department AMU. His success is a testament to his hard work, dedication, and perseverance.

We, the MSAA fraternity in Aligarh, extend our heartfelt congratulations on this outstanding accomplishment. We are confident that he will continue to inspire the younger generation and make meaningful contributions to society through his service and leadership.

We wish him continued success and excellence in all his future endeavours.

Delegates from University of Science & Technology Meghalaya (USTM) is in Manipur and organizing a Workshop on “Role of NEP-2020 & Career Opportunities” along with a special session on “How to Crack UPSC Exam?”

📍 Venue: DM College Commerce Auditorium, Dhanamanjuri University, Imphal

The program will be attended by distinguished academicians, educationists, and social leaders, and will greatly benefit students, parents, teachers, and UPSC aspirants.

The association members called on Respected Chancellor, Janab Mahbubul Hoque, who also happens to be a proud Alumnus of AMU and accorded warm reception.

Successful Conduct of Entrance Tests – A Proud Milestone!

We are delighted to share that the Entrance Tests for admission to Class XI (held on 26/04/2026) and Undergraduate (BA) courses (held on 12/04/2026) were conducted successfully.

A total of 272 students appeared for Class XI and 150 students for the UG entrance test, reflecting the growing trust and enthusiasm among students and parents.

What makes this achievement even more special is that our journey began just in February, and within a short span, we proudly crossed 400+ registrations in the very first year of opening the centre. This milestone stands as a testament to collective effort, dedication, and belief in our vision.

The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Manipur for his encouragement and support. The UG test centre was approved by AMU due to the DO letter by the CM.

The Aligarh Muslim University authorities for their guidance and taking the , 100 Flowers Higher Secondary Schoo, the parents and well-wishers for their trust

We also extend gratitude to the AMU alumni community for their continuous motivation and contribution

This is just the beginning. With your continued support, we aim to create greater opportunities and brighter futures for our students.

There is no postponement of XI class Entrance Test. As the test is being conducted at different centres across India, postponement is not possible.

We sincerely respect the concerns and sentiments of the people of Manipur and the association is with the people of Manipur. Many students appearing the test have worked hard and traveled from different places for this important examination. We request all citizens of Manipur to kindly allow them to proceed, so that their future is not adversely affected.

Your understanding and support in this matter will mean a lot to these students and their families.

Heartiest Congratulations to Md Anish Sheikh!

We are immensely proud to share that Md Anish Sheikh, son of Md Abdul Jalin and Mrs. Manejan, from Phouden Mayai Leikai, Thoubal, has successfully cleared the MPSC examination in his very first attempt, a truly remarkable achievement!

Anish completed his B.A. (Hons) in History from Zakir Husain College, DU (2015–2018) and pursued his M.A. from Aligarh Muslim University (2019–2021). His academic journey reflects dedication, perseverance, and a strong commitment to excellence.

Being the third among four sons in the family, his success is not only a personal milestone but also a moment of immense pride for his family and the entire community.

Clearing such a prestigious examination in the first attempt speaks volumes about his hard work, discipline, and determination. He stands as an inspiration for countless aspirants aiming to achieve their dreams.

May this success be the beginning of a long and impactful career ahead. Wishing him greater heights and continued success in all his future endeavors!

Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilayhi Raji'un

It is with profound grief and deep sorrow that we mourn the passing of Janab Dr. Maneruddin Sheikh, a distinguished personality who served with great dignity as the Speaker of the Manipur Legislative Assembly and remained a proud alumnus.

Dr. Sheikh was not only a remarkable leader but also a guiding light for society. His unwavering commitment to public service, his integrity, and his dedication to democratic values earned him immense respect across all sections of the community. As an alumnus, he always upheld the spirit of excellence and inspired countless individuals through his achievements and humility.

His demise is an irreparable loss to the people of Manipur, the alumni fraternity, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of service, wisdom, and leadership will continue to inspire generations to come.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and pray to Almighty Allah to grant him the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and give strength and patience to his loved ones during this difficult time.

We are proud to share the successful conduct of our first-ever BA/BSc Entrance Test in Manipur, with an encouraging participation of 155 students.

This milestone is particularly significant given the prevailing law and order challenges. Despite the difficulties, the examination was conducted smoothly and peacefully, a testament to the resilience and determination of our students.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the public, authorities, and all stakeholders whose unwavering support and cooperation made this possible. Your contribution ensured that the aspirations of our students were not hindered.

This achievement marks a strong beginning, and we look forward to continuing our efforts in creating more opportunities for the youth. The test for XI class is scheduled on 26/04/2026.
