THREE DAY COOMUNITY VOLUNTEERS TRAINNG ON BASIC CONCEPT OF DISASTER MANAGEMENT AND BASIC DISASTER RESPONSE
DATE:- 13th step to 15 th sept 2024
50 cadets of DNGC NCC has participated in this 3 days program of basic disaster response.
1ST DAY ;
DDMO has given a brief introduction about the “how to manage the disaster and encourages us to take part in the community volunteers programs “.
I. Distribution of t-shirt , training material and pamphlets
II. NDRF team have given the ideas about basic concept of disaster management and disaster risk management
III. Instructor Mr. Nibia kapa have helps us in understanding the dos and don’t during , before and after the earthquake, flood , thundering and lightning .Which is very important for us because our Arunachal Pradesh also falls under the earthquake prone areas .
IV. Instructor Mr Subash sonar help us understanding the meaning of landslide and heat wave . . And have given the presentation on dos and don’t during , before and after the landslide and heat wave .
-Session two-
I. Fire and emergency services Itanagar have given us the brief introduction on fire safety and fire accidents and also they demonstrate how to control fire when it break out .
II. During practical session all the participants have to participate in how to control fire and how to rescue people when they are drowning .
2nd day
a) On the second day cadets have learnt about importance and meaning of CPR and BLS .and how to provided to a person in need .
b) Shri hento gusar ( instructor) given us the ideas about how to provide first aid during any incident at community level.And also how to control bleeding and how to care wounds till we reach at nearest clinic.
c) After that practical session starts where we have participatd as care giver and subject and instructor and NDRF team have guide us to give it .
3rd day
On the last day of training cadets learnt about snake bite and animal and how to response in case of snake and other animal bite at local level .Instructor niba kapa have help us in understanding how to lift and move patient during the emergency to reach district hospital and nearest clinic . During practical session girl and boys where separate and have to do it in pair .
