OBSERVING FIT INDIA DAY

Dera Natung Government College Itanagar has observed national Fit India day in collaboration with SAI ( Sports authority of India)..
This program held successfully, with gracious presence of Shree Tame phassang sir, mayor IMC, Fr. (Dr.) Jose George SDB, principal of DBC Itanagar.

Many sports events were held to embrace fitness, it was conducted between NCC CADETS AND NSS VOLUNTEERS.
Out of which NCC CADETS have secured 1st Position and lifted the trophy in following events.

3. VOLLEYBALL BOYS

NCC DAY CELEBRATION AND BLOOD DONATION PROGRAM AT RK MISSION HOSPITAL.

DATE:- 24TH NOVEMBER, 2024

today being the fourth Sunday of November, NCC UNIT OF DNGC CELEBRATED THE 74TH RAISING DAY OF NCC (NCC DAY).
It was followed by a blood donation camp organised by 1 AP BN NCC, NLG held at RK MISSION HOSPITAL.
almost 60 Cadets from various NCC institutions( 34 NCC CADETS OF DNGC ) have voluntarily stepped out and donated their blood for a nobal cause.

THE NCC ORIENTATION PROGRAM.

DATE: 1 TH NOV 2024

ON 1TH NOVEMBER 2024, the NCC SENIOR CADETS of DNGC ITANAGAR (both 22nd batch and 23th batch) has organised an orientation program to welcome the newly enrolled CADETS of 24th batch. The program was very successful due to the presence of our principal sir, LIKHA EICHER ma'am(ex CTO MA'AM ), the ANO of RGGP college ITANAGAR and lastly but not the last the CTO sir and CTO ma'am. And the presence of the 24th batch of ncc was really appreciable as their presence was mandatory.
The most appreciation goes to ncc senior of the 22nd batch and the 23rd batch who does the active part in works and the decoration of everything which actually plays a very important role which made the program successful.

ON THE OCCASION OF GANDHI JAYANTI THE PARTICIPATION OF DNGC NCC CADETS FOR SOCIAL SERVICE UNDER THE THEME " SWACHHATA HI SEVA":SWABHAV SWACHHATA; SANSKAR SWACHHATA.

DATE: 2nd Oct 2024

For the celebration of Gandhi Ji's birthday, a social service was done in the campus of DNGC college which was led by the NCC cadet and NSS students( above 60 plus NCC cadets have participated) also, Principal of DNGC (Dr M.Q Khan) and all faculty (both teaching staff and non teaching staff) have also participated. The social service started this morning and ended till mid-day.

THREE DAY COOMUNITY VOLUNTEERS TRAINNG ON BASIC CONCEPT OF DISASTER MANAGEMENT AND BASIC DISASTER RESPONSE

DATE:- 13th step to 15 th sept 2024

50 cadets of DNGC NCC has participated in this 3 days program of basic disaster response.

1ST DAY ;
DDMO has given a brief introduction about the “how to manage the disaster and encourages us to take part in the community volunteers programs “.
I. Distribution of t-shirt , training material and pamphlets
II. NDRF team have given the ideas about basic concept of disaster management and disaster risk management
III. Instructor Mr. Nibia kapa have helps us in understanding the dos and don’t during , before and after the earthquake, flood , thundering and lightning .Which is very important for us because our Arunachal Pradesh also falls under the earthquake prone areas .
IV. Instructor Mr Subash sonar help us understanding the meaning of landslide and heat wave . . And have given the presentation on dos and don’t during , before and after the landslide and heat wave .

-Session two-
I. Fire and emergency services Itanagar have given us the brief introduction on fire safety and fire accidents and also they demonstrate how to control fire when it break out .
II. During practical session all the participants have to participate in how to control fire and how to rescue people when they are drowning .

2nd day

a) On the second day cadets have learnt about importance and meaning of CPR and BLS .and how to provided to a person in need .
b) Shri hento gusar ( instructor) given us the ideas about how to provide first aid during any incident at community level.And also how to control bleeding and how to care wounds till we reach at nearest clinic.
c) After that practical session starts where we have participatd as care giver and subject and instructor and NDRF team have guide us to give it .

3rd day

On the last day of training cadets learnt about snake bite and animal and how to response in case of snake and other animal bite at local level .Instructor niba kapa have help us in understanding how to lift and move patient during the emergency to reach district hospital and nearest clinic . During practical session girl and boys where separate and have to do it in pair .
DDMO have thanks all the participant, NDRF and instructor for their cooperation during the three day training program
