Our library member Eliza recently finished reading 300 books. When she received her prize (library sweatshirt, a box of millet cookies and a certificate), she just was overwhelmed. After the prize ceremony, she sat quietly, in disbelief. When we asked her if she was feeling good, she simply smiled and nodded đź«

On Gandhi Jayanti yesterday we read Grandfather Gandhi written by Arun Gandhi and Bethany Hegedus. Children could quite relate to Arun’s inner struggles as a child. We talked about anger and how everyone gets angry. And that instead of letting anger consume us, we have the choice of using it towards greater good
