In a significant policy shift, the National Medical Commission (NMC) has removed key restrictions on MBBS seat expansion, opening the door for a substantial increase in undergraduate medical seats across the country. Also, resolves a long-standing regulatory impasse, the National Medical Commission has granted recognition to the Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Cardiology (PGDCC), effectively validating the degrees of around 1,700 doctors who completed the course between 2006 and 2013.

Another Family lost their only Hope
Dr. Suresh Katravath, a first-year postgraduate in General Surgery, is no more. A life that had just begun its journey in healing others has been cut short reportedly under the weight of relentless pressure, exhaustion, and a system that often forgets its own caregivers are human.
This is not just grief. This is a failure.
