The imposing beauty of the Palace is over two centuries old when the temples of Lord Rama and Lord Girdhariji (another name of Lord Krishna) were built and subsequently the Palace co

mplex around the temples. One of the most beautiful portions of the Palace was built during the reign of Maharawal Jawahir Singhji in the beginning of the twentieth century. A noticeable feature of Mandir Palace is its tower also referred to as the ‘Badal Vilas’, which stands out as the tallest structure below the hill-top city fort.
