🏆 Closing Ceremony – 74th All India Police Athletics Cluster 2025–26 🏆

74th All India Police Athletics Cluster 2025–26 concluded with a grand Closing Ceremony held at PAP Headquarters, Jalandhar. The championship was organized from 07 March to 12 March 2026, bringing together police teams from across the country who showcased exceptional athletic talent, discipline, and true sportsmanship throughout the competition.

The ceremony was graced by Sh. M.F. Farooqui, IPS, Addl. DGP / State Armed Police, Jalandhar, as the Chief Guest, while Sh. Bidhu Shekhar, IPS, Joint Director, Intelligence Bureau, attended as the Guest of Honour. On the arrival of the Chief Guest, vibrant Gidha and Bhangra performances were presented, followed by a spectacular Equestrian Show, which was widely appreciated by the spectators.

The dignitaries were welcomed by Sh. Inderrbir Singh, IPS, DIG / Admin PAP-cum-Organizing Secretary, Jalandhar. During the ceremony, the Chief Guest congratulated all the winners and extended his best wishes to the participants for their dedication, commitment, and sporting spirit. Medals and trophies were distributed to the winning teams and athletes.

A historic highlight of the championship was achieved by Olympian Sh. Tajinderpal Singh Toor, DSP, who broke the 23-year-old Shot Put record of Sh. Bahadur Singh, Padma Shri, with an impressive throw of 19.67 metres.

All Organizing Committee Chairpersons were honoured by the Chief Guest for their valuable efforts in successfully organizing the championship. The ceremony concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Ms. Vatsala Gupta, IPS, Commandant, 27th Battalion PAP.

The closing ceremony marked a memorable conclusion to the championship, celebrating excellence in sports, teamwork, and the spirit of unity among police forces across India. 🇮🇳👏

ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦੇ ਪੀ.ਏ.ਪੀ. ਹੈਡਕੁਆਟਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ 74ਵੀਂ ਸਰਬ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਥਲੈਟਿਕ ਕਲੱਸਟਰ ਦੇ ਚੌਥੇ ਦਿਨ ਅਥਲੀਟਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਖੇਡ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਅੱਜ ਦੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਸਪੋਰਟਸ ਕਾਲਜ, ਜਲੰਧਰ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਈਕਲਿੰਗ ਟਰੈਕਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਸਫਲਤਾਪੂਰਵਕ ਸੰਪੰਨ ਹੋਏ।

* 400 ਮੀਟਰ ਹਰਡਲਜ਼ (ਮਹਿਲਾ): ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ, ਯੂ.ਪੀ. ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਬੀ.ਐਸ.ਐਫ. ਨੇ ਤੀਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ।

* ਲੌਂਗ ਜੰਪ (ਮਹਿਲਾ): ਅਸਾਮ ਰਾਈਫਲ ਪਹਿਲੇ, ਯੂ.ਪੀ. ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੂਜੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੀ.ਆਈ.ਐਸ.ਐਫ. ਤੀਜੇ ਸਥਾਨ 'ਤੇ ਰਹੀ।

* ਲੌਂਗ ਜੰਪ (ਪੁਰਸ਼): ਯੂ.ਪੀ. ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜਾ, ਜਦਕਿ ਕੇਰਲਾ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਤੀਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ।

* ਹਾਈ ਜੰਪ (ਮਹਿਲਾ): ਕੇਰਲਾ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਪਹਿਲੇ, ਮਹਾਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਾ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੂਜੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੀ.ਆਈ.ਐਸ.ਐਫ. ਤੀਜੇ ਸਥਾਨ 'ਤੇ ਆਈ।

* ਜੈਵਲਿਨ ਥਰੋਅ (ਮਹਿਲਾ): ਸੀ.ਆਈ.ਐਸ.ਐਫ. ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੀਜਾ, ਜਦਕਿ ਬੀ.ਐਸ.ਐਫ. ਨੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ।

🚴 ਸਾਈਕਲਿੰਗ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ
* 50 ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ ਏਲੀਟ (ਪੁਰਸ਼): ਯੂ.ਪੀ. ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ, ਕਰਨਾਟਕਾ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਐਸ.ਐਸ.ਬੀ. ਨੇ ਤੀਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ।

* 30 ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ ਏਲੀਟ (ਮਹਿਲਾ): ਯੂ.ਪੀ. ਪੁਲਿਸ ਪਹਿਲੇ, ਰਾਜਸਥਾਨ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੂਜੇ ਅਤੇ ਬੀ.ਐਸ.ਐਫ. ਤੀਜੇ ਸਥਾਨ 'ਤੇ ਰਹੀ।

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ:
* ਪੁਰਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ 4x100 ਮੀਟਰ ਰੀਲੇਅ ਦੌੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਕੇ ਸੋਨੇ ਦਾ ਤਮਗਾ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ।

* 4x400 ਮੀਟਰ ਮਿਕਸਡ ਰੀਲੇਅ ਅਤੇ ਡਿਕੈਥਲਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਦੇ ਤਮਗੇ ਜਿੱਤੇ।

ਉੱਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ (UP) ਪੁਲਿਸ:
* ਯੂ.ਪੀ. ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਵਰਗ ਦੀ 4x100 ਮੀਟਰ ਰੀਲੇਅ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ।

* 4x400 ਮੀਟਰ ਮਿਕਸਡ ਰੀਲੇਅ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਰਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ 3000 ਮੀਟਰ ਸਟੀਪਲ ਚੇਜ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਯੂ.ਪੀ. ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਸੋਨੇ ਦੇ ਤਮਗੇ ਜਿੱਤੇ।

* ਸਾਈਕਲਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਯੂ.ਪੀ. ਦੀਆਂ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਖਿਡਾਰਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਮਾਲ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਤਿੰਨੋਂ ਸਥਾਨਾਂ (84 ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ ਰੋਡ ਰੇਸ) 'ਤੇ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਕੀਤਾ।

ਹੋਰ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਨਤੀਜੇ:
* ਸਾਈਕਲਿੰਗ (ਪੁਰਸ਼): 120 ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ ਰੋਡ ਰੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਰਨਾਟਕਾ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ।

* ਜੈਵਲਿਨ ਥਰੋਅ: ਸੀ.ਆਈ.ਐੱਸ.ਐੱਫ. (CISF) ਦੇ ਅਥਲੀਟ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਜਿੱਤ ਕੇ ਸੋਨੇ ਦਾ ਤਮਗਾ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ।

* ਸਟੀਪਲ ਚੇਜ਼ (ਮਹਿਲਾ): 3000 ਮੀਟਰ ਸਟੀਪਲ ਚੇਜ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਾਮਿਲਨਾਡੂ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੀ ਖਿਡਾਰਨ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ।

ਸਨਮਾਨ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ:

ਜਲੰਧਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੇ 74ਵੇਂ ਸਰਬ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਥਲੈਟਿਕ ਕਲੱਸਟਰ 2025–26 ਦੇ ਤੀਜੇ ਦਿਨ ਖਿਡਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਈ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣਾ ਜਲਵਾ ਦਿਖਾਇਆ। ਅੱਜ ਅਥਲੈਟਿਕਸ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਈਕਲਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਗਏ।

ਅਥਲੈਟਿਕਸ ਦੇ ਜੇਤੂ (ਸਪੋਰਟਸ ਕਾਲਜ, ਜਲੰਧਰ):

🏃 3000 ਮੀਟਰ ਸਟੀਪਲ ਚੇਜ਼: ਮਹਿਲਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਾਮਿਲਨਾਡੂ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਰਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਯੂ.ਪੀ. ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੇ ਖਿਡਾਰੀ ਅੱਵਲ ਰਹੇ।

ਸਾਈਕਲਿੰਗ (ਨਕੋਦਰ ਬਾਈਪਾਸ):
🚴 120 ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ (ਪੁਰਸ਼): ਕਰਨਾਟਕਾ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਯੂ.ਪੀ. ਦੂਜੇ ਸਥਾਨ ’ਤੇ ਰਹੀ।

🚴‍♀️ 84 ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ (ਮਹਿਲਾ): ਯੂ.ਪੀ. ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਖਿਡਾਰਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਤਿੰਨੋਂ ਸਥਾਨ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਮ ਕੀਤੇ।

🏅 ਸਨਮਾਨ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ:
ਅੱਜ ਦੇ ਜੇਤੂ ਖਿਡਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰਤੇਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਔਲਖ, ਕਮਾਂਡੈਂਟ-ਕਮ-ਸਪੋਰਟਸ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਰਾਜ ਕੁਮਾਰ, ਕਮਾਂਡੈਂਟ 3ਜੀ ਆਈ.ਆਰ.ਬੀ. ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮੈਡਲ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।

ਜਲੰਧਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ 74ਵੇਂ ਸਰਬ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਥਲੈਟਿਕਸ ਕਲੱਸਟਰ 2025–26 ਦੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਦਿਨ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੇ ਖਿਡਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਮੈਡਲ ਜਿੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਅਖ਼ਬਾਰਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੁਰਖੀਆਂ ਬਣੇ।

* ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਹਰਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ 100 ਮੀਟਰ ਦੌੜ 10.55 ਸਕਿੰਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੂਰੀ ਕਰਕੇ 🥇 ਸੋਨੇ ਦਾ ਤਮਗਾ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ।

* ਏ.ਐੱਸ.ਆਈ. ਅਨਮੋਲ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਹੈਮਰ ਥਰੋਅ ਵਿੱਚ 🥈 ਚਾਂਦੀ ਦਾ ਤਮਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਰੰਜੂ ਦੇਵੀ ਨੇ 🥉 ਕਾਂਸੇ ਦਾ ਤਮਗਾ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ।

* ਏ.ਐੱਸ.ਆਈ. ਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਾਟ ਪੁੱਟ ਵਿੱਚ 🥈 ਚਾਂਦੀ ਦਾ ਤਮਗਾ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ।

⚡ 100 ਮੀਟਰ ਦੌੜ: ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਹਰਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ 100 ਮੀਟਰ ਦੌੜ 10.55 ਸਕਿੰਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੂਰੀ ਕਰਕੇ 🥇 ਸੋਨੇ ਦਾ ਤਮਗਾ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਟੂਰਨਾਮੈਂਟ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਤੇਜ਼ ਅਥਲੀਟ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਮਾਣ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ।

ਹੈਮਰ ਥਰੋਅ (ਮਹਿਲਾ): ਏ.ਐੱਸ.ਆਈ. ਅਨਮੋਲ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ 54.86 ਮੀਟਰ ਨਾਲ 🥈 ਚਾਂਦੀ ਦਾ ਤਮਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਰੰਜੂ ਦੇਵੀ ਨੇ 54.36 ਮੀਟਰ ਨਾਲ 🥉 ਕਾਂਸੇ ਦਾ ਤਮਗਾ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ।

ਸ਼ਾਟ ਪੁੱਟ (ਮਹਿਲਾ): ਏ.ਐੱਸ.ਆਈ. ਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ 14.91 ਮੀਟਰ ਦੀ ਦੂਰੀ ਤੈਅ ਕਰਕੇ 🥉 ਕਾਂਸੇ ਦਾ ਤਮਗਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਮ ਕੀਤਾ।

The 74th All India Police Athletics Cluster 2025–26 commenced with a grand opening ceremony at the PAP Headquarters Jalandhar, bringing together athletes from police forces across the country.

The championship was formally inaugurated by Sh. M. F. Farooqui, IPS, ADGP / State Armed Police Punjab. The ceremony witnessed an impressive march past by nearly 1,200 athletes representing 29 teams from State Police Forces, Central Armed Police Forces, and Union Territories.
International athlete Jaspinder Singh, serving as ASI in Punjab Police, administered the Oath of Sportsmanship to the participants.
