A university is more than bricks and concrete. It's where futures are built.
The protest over Muhammad Ali Jauhar University is not just about a campus—it's about thousands of students, their education, and the uncertainty surrounding their future.
Every educational institution represents years of sacrifice by students and their families. Whatever the legal or political questions involved, the interests of students must remain at the centre of every decision.
If we fail to protect spaces of learning, we risk sending a dangerous message to an entire generation—that education can become collateral damage.
A nation's future is shaped in its classrooms, not in its ruins.

Even the right to provide for themselves is being taken away from the youth of this country.
FMGE which is being conducted by NBEMS has been a disaster. Students whose families make sacrifices to send their children abroad in hope of a better future are being played with their feelings.

Along with a delegation from Foreign Medical Graduates met with Manish Sharma Ji ( Incharge IYC) and Uday Bhanu Chib ji (National President IYC) at Srinagar. The meeting was focused on the issues that students appearing for FMGE are facing due to lack of transparency in the examination process and lack of facilities and arrangements at examination centres across the country .this is a pressing issue faced by approximately 40000 students across the country and in Jammu and Kashmir where a large number of students go abroad to study medicine every year.
The meeting was a part of the ongoing Chhatron ki Goonj campaign started by Shri Rahul Gandhi ji.

I condemn the Attack and Misbehavior towards J&K congress MLA Bandipora - Nizamuddin Bhat sahab by Jalal akbar lone and other National Conference workers . Bhat sahab is a seasoned politician and a bold voice in the JK Legislative Assembly. Such an incident towards an Elder representative is truly a shame. I request Farooq Abdullah sahab (President JKNC) and Jenab Ali Muhammad Sagar Shb (General Secretary JKNC) to kindly inquire into this matter and take organisational measures to punish the people involved.
I also urge Hon'ble CM Omar Abdullah Sahab to issue a statement on this as leader of the house and Vice President JKNC.
Congress as a Party has been fighting honestly against the Ruling Government for the welfare of the citizens of India and even in Jammu and Kashmir Congress has been fighting for the Rights of People and on issues, that other regional parties also promised but failed to deliver.
So we request that matters like these should be seriously looked into .
