This is the official page of the Idukki District Committee of the Communist Party of India (Marxist). The CPIM works for the establishment of a socialist society in India, free from class exploitation and social oppression. The Party has adopted the principles of Marxism-Leninism as the guide to action to attain the objective of socialism and to advance towards the ultimate goal of commun

ism. The CPIM places its revolutionary programme before the people of India to establish people’s democracy. A people’s democratic revolution will open the way for the advance to socialism and an exploitation free society. Such a revolution to emancipate the Indian people has to be led by the working class in alliance with the peasantry. In order to achieve this goal, the Communist Party as the vanguard of the working class has to lead militant struggles against imperialism, monopoly capitalism and landlordism. By concretely applying the principles of Marxism-Leninism to the conditions prevailing in our country, the Party has to conduct prolonged struggles on all fronts – political, ideological, economic, social and cultural – till victory is attained. The Party is at the forefront of the fight against communalism in the country, in defence of the minorities who are being hounded by the Sangh Parivar. The Party stands for women's liberation, democratic decentralisation and the protection of the environment. The Party tries to implement alternative policies wherever it leads state government and local governments, within the constraints of the capitalist system prevailing in the country. The new direction given by that government laid the foundation for the renowned 'Kerala Model'. The government led by EMS Namboodiripad showed the way in developing the understanding on how the Communist Party should work in the parliamentary system in a capitalist country, clarifying and defining the role of the Party which participates in government where it has popular mandate while continuing to keep the Party's major focus on developing mass movements and struggles of the working people.

സാമൂഹ്യ സുരക്ഷാ പെൻഷൻ അട്ടിമറിക്കാനുള്ള സർക്കാരിൻ്റെ നീക്കം അപലപനീയമാണെന്നു സി . പി. ഐ എം ഇടുക്കില്ലാ സക്രട്ടറി സഖാവ് സി വി വർഗ്ഗീസ്

സർക്കാർ ഇറക്കിയ ഉത്തരവിൽ ആധാർ ബന്ധിതബാങ്ക് അക്കൗണ്ടുകളിലൂടെ മാത്രം ക്ഷേമപെൻഷൻ നൽകുക എന്ന തീരുമാനം ഭിന്നശേ ഷിക്കാർ ഉൾപ്പെടെയുള്ള ഗുണ ഭോക്താക്കളോടുള്ള വെല്ലുവിളി യാണ്. പല ഭിന്നശേഷി വ്യക്തികളും പരസഹായം കൂടാതെ ദൈനംദിന കാര്യങ്ങൾ നിവർത്തിക്കാനോ വീടിനു പുറത്തിറങ്ങാനോ കഴിയാത്തവരാണ്.
ദേശസാ ൽകൃതബാങ്കുകൾ പലതും ഭിന്നശേഷി സൗഹൃദമായ സാഹചര്യത്തിലോ വീടിനടുത്തോ അല്ല പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നത്

ഇടുക്കി ജില്ലയെ സംബന്ധിച്ച് തോട്ടം മേഖലയിലും കാർഷിക മേഖലയിലും ഉള്ള ആളുകൾ തൊട്ടടുത്ത പട്ടണത്തിൽ ഉള്ള ബാങ്കുകളെയാണ് ആശ്രയിക്കേണ്ടി വരിക കിലോമീറ്റർ സഞ്ചരിച്ചാൽ മാത്രമേ ഈ ബാങ്കുകളിൽ എത്തിച്ചേരാൻ കഴിയുകയുള്ളൂ.
അതിനാവട്ടെ വലിയ സാമ്പത്തിക ബാധ്യതയും ഉണ്ടാവും ജില്ലയിലെ പെൻഷൻ ഗുണഭോക്താക്കളിൽ ഭിന്നശേഷിക്കാർ,രോഗികളും പ്രായാധിക്യത്താൽ എഴുനേറ്റ് നടക്കാൻ കഴിയാത്തവരും ഉണ്ട് .അവർക്കൊക്കെ വലിയ സഹായകരമായിരുന്നു പെൻഷൻ സ്വന്തം കൈകളിൽ എത്തുക എന്നുള്ളത് അത് അട്ടിമറിക്കുക വഴി ഈ പെൻഷൻ തന്നെ ലഭ്യമാകാതെ വരുന്ന സാഹചര്യം രൂപപ്പെടും.
ഈ സാഹചര്യങ്ങൾ പരിഗണിച്ചാണ്ഇടതുപക്ഷ സർക്കാർ 10 വർഷക്കാലം ക്ഷേമപെൻഷൻ സഹകരണ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളിലൂടെ വീടുകളിൽ എത്തിച്ചു നൽകിയത്. മിനിമം ബാലൻസ് ഇല്ലെങ്കിൽ പിഴ ഈടാക്കുന്ന ബാങ്കുകൾ ഉണ്ട്. അങ്ങനെ വരുമ്പോൾ പെൻഷൻ വരുന്ന തുക മുഴുവനായിപിൻവലിക്കാൻ പറ്റാതെ വരും. ഇത്തരം കാര്യങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് സർ ക്കാർ ആലോചിക്കാതിരുന്നത് ഖേദകരമാണ്.
കിടപ്പ് രോഗികൾക്ക് പെൻഷൻ വീട്ടിൽ എത്തിച്ചു നൽകും എന്നാണ് സർക്കാർ പറയുന്നത് എന്നാലതു എങ്ങനെ നൽകും എന്നതിന് യാതൊരു സൂചനയുമില്ല അതു പെൻഷൻ വാങ്ങുന്ന പാവപ്പെട്ട ആളുകളെ കബളിപ്പിക്കാൻ വേണ്ടിയാണ് കാരണം സഹകരണബാങ്കുകളെ ഒഴിവാക്കുമ്പോൾ പിന്നെ ഇത് ആരാണ് വീട്ടിൽ എത്തിച്ചു കൊടുക്കുക എന്ന തിന് വ്യക്തമായ ഉത്തരം നൽകുന്നുമില്ല .കൂടാതെ സഹകരണ മേഖലയിൽ നൂറുകണക്കിന് താൽക്കാലിക ജീവനക്കാരുണ്ട് അവർ മുഖാന്തിരമാണ് പെൻഷൻ കൊടുത്തു കൊണ്ടിരുന്നത് ചെറിയ ഒരു കമ്മീഷൻ അവർക്ക് ലഭ്യമായിരുന്നു. ഇതോടെ ആ വരുമാനം നിലക്കുന്നത് ആയിരക്കണക്കായ മനുഷ്യരുടെ കുടുംബ ബഡ്ജറ്റിൻ്റെ താളം തെറ്റിക്കും.
അതുകൊണ്ടു തന്നെ ഈ ജനദ്രോഹതീരുമാനത്തിൽ നിന്നും സർക്കാർ പിൻമാറണമെന്ന് പ്രസ്ഥാവനയിൽ ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു
