It’s heartbreaking to see that IIT Kharagpur, one of the most prestigious institutions in India, is increasingly becoming a hotspot for student suicides. Despite the academic excellence and national pride it carries, students are silently suffering—and some are even losing their lives to that silence.

💔 Why is no concrete action being taken?
Where are the administrative reforms?
Why are precautionary mental health measures still missing?

At this rate, IIT Kharagpur risks being called the next Kota Factory
—not for academic coaching, but for the rising number of student suicides. That would be a tragedy, not just for the institution, but for the nation.

🚨 Important Public Health Awareness 🚨

A tragic incident has shaken the sports community. A state-level Kabaddi player lost his life after being bitten by a puppy he rescued, later succumbing to rabies — a preventable yet deadly disease.

💔 His story is a heartbreaking reminder that even small acts of kindness, like helping a stray animal, should always be followed by proper medical attention.

🦠 What You Need to Know About Rabies:

Rabies is 100% fatal once symptoms appear.
ANY animal bite, especially from stray or unvaccinated pets, should be treated as potentially dangerous.
Immediate steps after a bite:
✅ Wash the wound thoroughly with soap and water
✅ Visit a doctor immediately
✅ Start the rabies vaccination course without delay

🐾 Be Kind, But Be Safe:

Helping animals is noble — but your health comes first. Always take proper precautions when handling or rescuing stray animals.

🚆 Confused About Train Chart Preparation Timings? Here's What You Need to Know! 🕘

Many of us face confusion during train journeys when our ticket status shows WL (Waitlist) or RAS (Reservation Against Cancellation) and we’re left wondering “When will the chart be prepared?”

To clear the doubts, here are the official chart preparation timings as per Indian Railways (effective July 2025):

📌 For trains departing between 5:00 AM and 2:00 PM:
➡️ First reservation chart will be prepared by 9:00 PM the previous day.

📌 For trains departing between 2:00 PM – 11:59 PM and 12:00 AM – 5:00 AM:
➡️ Chart will be prepared at least 8 hours before departure.

✅ No change in second reservation chart rules.
📍 Also applies to remote charting locations.

🔔 So next time you’re on WL or RAS, keep these times in mind and stay prepared!
