FACT Computer Education Khunti, Jharkhand organized a programme to Ex*****on of Training Project "Ajeevika Skill Development Programme(ASDP)" sponsored by Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India and Department of Rural Development, Govt. of Jharkhand.

Welcoming the inauguration of the Free Computer Training Program, Khunti District Nagar Panchayat Vice-Chairmain Mr. Madan Mohan Mishra, said “This centre will greatly supplement the efforts of our other institutions such as the teacher institutes, and will provide much-needed leadership in the education sector.”

In the end of Program Mr. Guest distributed the Free Training Material Kit to the 60 BPL Rural Youth trainees.

सामान्य परिचय

खूँटी जिला 12 सितम्बर 2007 को पूर्ववर्ती राँची जिला से विभाजित होकर झारखण्ड के 23वें जिले के रूप में अस्तिव में आया। यह दक्षिणी छोटानागपुर प्रमंडल का भाग है। खूँटी जिला में 6 प्रख्ंाड, 86 पंचायत में 757 ग्राम हैं एवं एक नगर पंचायत, खूँटी भी है। खूँटी जिला मुख्यालय राज्य की राजधानी राँची से लगभग 40 कि.मी. की दूरी पर स्थित है।

भगवान बिरसा मुण्डा का जन्म खूँटी जिले के अड़की प्रखंड स्थित उलीहातु ग्राम में हुआ था, जो आदिवासी बहुल क्षेत्र है। इनके जन्म स्थान को ऐतिहासिक स्थल के रूप में जाना जाता है । यहाँ के लोगों का मुख्य व्यवसाय कृषि पर आधारित है। खूंटी जिला प्राकृतिक रूप से हरे भरे वनों, पहाड़ों एवं घाटियों से घिरे हुए अपनी सांस्कृतिक परम्पराओं तथा लोककथाओं को दर्षाती है। खूँटी जिला में हाॅकी के प्रतिभावन खिलाड़ी भी रहे हैं, जो अन्तराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर खेल चुके है।

जनसंख्याः

खूँटी जिला में 2011 जनगणना के अनुसार कुल आबादी 5.30 लाख हैं। जिसमें 2.66 लाख पुरूष और 2.64 लाख महिला आबादी है। ग्रामीण जनसंख्या 485195 है एवं शहरी क्षेत्र में 45104 है। लिंग अनुपात के अनुसार प्रति हजार पुरूष 994 महिला है।

प्राकृतिक संसाधनः

जिले का एक बड़ा हिस्सा, 2610.90 वर्ग कि.मी. क्षेत्र जंगल से आच्छादित है। यह स्वास्थ जलवायु, घने वन, पहाडि़यों से घिरा तथा खूबसूरत झरने वाला प्रदेष है। यह समुद्र तल से 2180 फुट की उॅंचाई पर स्थित है। यहाँ का तापमान एक समान रूप से रहता है। यह क्षेत्र पहाडि़यों के साथ-साथ घने जंगलों के बीच स्थित है।

खूँटी प्रादेषिक रेंज के कुल वन क्षेत्र 36100.35 एकड़ जमीन के आसपास है। 14768 एकड़ जमीन पी.पी.एफ. (सार्वजनिक निजी वन) एवं 2234.87 एकड़ जमीन रिजर्व वन आर.एफ है तथा 18996 क्षेत्र संरक्षित वन में है। यहाँ के लोग अपने स्तर से भी जंगल की रक्षा करते है। इसके लिए 53 ग्राम वन प्रबंधन और संरक्षण समितियाॅं जो खूँटी वन रेंज में गठित हुआ है। इनके द्वारा ;टथ्डच्ब्द्ध 4688ण्76 एकड़ जमीन का सुरक्षा तथा देखभाल किया जाता है।
