Leading the frontlines of the democratic struggle through the Prajamandalam movement was Ikkanda Warrier—a dedicated Gandhian and lawyer who championed civil liberties and agrarian reform.

🏛️ A Defining Chapter (1948 – 1949): Sworn in on September 20, 1948, he served as the 3rd (and final) Prime Minister of Cochin. Though his tenure lasted just nine months before the historic unification into Travancore-Cochin on July 1, 1949, his legacy continues to nourish the land.

💧 The Visionary Builder: He was the key driving force behind major lifeline irrigation and water projects in Central Kerala, including the iconic Peechi, Vazhani, and Peringalkuthu dams.
