In rural Assam, many families travel for hours just to access specialist spine care.
To bridge that gap, The Spine Foundation organised a free spine camp at Makunda Christian Leprosy and General Hospital, Karimganj bringing consultations, evaluations, surgical guidance, and hope closer to underserved communities.
Patients arrived carrying years of pain, difficulty walking, spinal deformities, and unanswered concerns. Through detailed assessments and consultations, the team successfully performed 13 surgeries during the camp helping patients move one step closer to relief and recovery.
Dr. Nitin Shetty, Consultant Spine Surgeon from London and part of The Spine Foundation, also joined the camp contributing his expertise alongside the TSF team.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the team who made this possible:
Dr Shekhar Bhojraj
Dr Nithin Shetty
Dr Sheetal Mohite
