Shakti – Sharing Happiness Around through Knowledge, Time and Ideas is now a 9 years old organization. It is currently run by individuals who are all working professionals. Shakti is for those who think they do not have time to contribute towards a social cause. We organize events ONLY on weekends and holidays so that we do not have to take a day off from work. We will also give you a platform to

implement your ideas. You tell us what you want to do for the society and together we will make it happen. Shakti believes that just as little drops of water together make the mighty ocean, so too little acts of kindness and compassion can and will make a difference. When we all perform little deeds of kindness the world will be a better place. Let us include the need for doing good service to society in our purpose in life. Let's go beyond just giving or donating money to a charity. Current Programmes by Shakti :
1. Organizing both CSR and ISR events

This week, let’s take a small yet powerful sankalp — 108 rotis per day, a total of 756 rotis a week, for the cows at Kolkata Pinjarapol Society (home to 1600+ cows).

If each one of us contributes even a little, together we can easily achieve this weekly seva target.
