25-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed in Hit-and-Run Incident in Kulgam

Kulgam, Mar 22: A 25-year-old motorcyclist lost his life in a tragic hit-and-run incident in the Chowgam area of Devsar in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Sunday evening, official said.

The deceased has been identified as Ubaid Ahmad Malik, son of Nisar Ahmad Malik, a resident of Sopat Berigam. He was reportedly hit by an unknown vehicle at Chowgam, resulting in critical injuries, He added.

Soon after the accident, he was rushed to Emergency Hospital Qazigund for treatment. However, doctors declared him brought dead upon arrival.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and launched an investigation to trace the unidentified vehicle involved in the hit-and-run.
