Why only Arfaz when many others live in alleged "Illegal" houses

So many people live on land labelled as “illegal.” So many houses stand in the same lanes, built with the same hopes, the same struggles, the same human dreams. But only one was chosen. Only one was broken. Only one family was left standing in the dust of their memories Arfaz’s.
And that is what hurts the most.

When a demolition becomes selective, it stops being about law and starts feeling like punishment. When hundreds of homes remain untouched, but one is torn down without mercy, it leaves a scar deeper than rubble. It makes people wonder: Why him? Why only him?

Arfaz didn’t just lose walls he lost the place where his past lived and his future was supposed to grow. The speed, the silence, the isolation of the act… it all tells a story louder than the bulldozer ever could.

This isn’t just about one house.
It’s about fairness.
It’s about dignity.
It’s about a family that deserved the same protection, the same patience, the same justice given to everyone else.

Today, the question echoes through every broken brick:
When so many others stand untouched, why was only Arfaz made to fall?

What happened in Mamar Kangan is not just a demolition it is a wound on the soul of an entire community.

Homes were crushed. Memories were buried. Families stood crying as the little they had built over years of struggle was reduced to dust in minutes. And once again, it was the poor who paid the price. The very people who live hand-to-mouth, who build their shelters with sweat and sacrifice, were targeted without compassion, without clarity, and without proper notice.

But the biggest question burning in every heart is this:

Why is it always the poor? Why do the rich and influential with far bigger violations never face the same bulldozers?

We all know the answer too well. Power protects. Money shields. Influence buys silence. And ordinary people are left to suffer the harshest consequences.

This selective justice is not just unacceptable it is unjust, immoral, and deeply damaging to public trust. If law is truly equal for all, let the powerful be held accountable too. Let the rich face the same actions. Let the process be fair, transparent, and humane.
As a social activist, I stand with every affected family of Mamar, Kangan. Their pain is real. Their loss is unbearable. And their voices must not be ignored.

We demand accountability.
We demand equal treatment.
We demand humanity in governance.

The people of Mamar, Kangan deserve justice not rubble.

Unemployment today is not just an economic issue it is a human story of dreams delayed, potential wasted, and hopes slowly fading. Every day, countless educated young men and women wake up with ambition in their hearts, only to face closed doors and unreachable opportunities. As a social activist, I have listened to these stories closely stories filled with struggle, frustration, and silent tears.

Behind every unemployed youth is a family that sacrifices, believing that education will bring a better future. Yet, many of these bright minds roam from office to office with files in hand, searching for a job that never seems to come. Their talent remains unused, their creativity unrecognized, and their confidence slowly begins to break. The pain of unemployment is not only financial; it affects the mind, the dignity, and the very identity of a person.

Unemployment also leaves deep marks on society. It increases poverty, weakens families, and pushes young people toward depression, addiction, migration, and sometimes even crime not because they want to, but because society has failed to give them the opportunities they deserve. It is heartbreaking to see potential turning into despair simply because the system is not designed to support them.

As social activists, we cannot remain silent. We must raise our voices for skill development programs, fair job opportunities, and policies that prioritize youth empowerment. We must motivate young people to believe in their abilities, to explore entrepreneurship, to acquire new skills, and to continue dreaming because their dreams are the strength of our nation.

Unemployment is a wound that society must heal together. When we provide opportunities, we restore dignity. When we support our youth, we build a stronger, brighter, and more just future for all.
