In continuation of post-flood precaution awareness measures, Team PHED Mangaldai Division today also conducted comprehensive field campaign at Bengabora, Mothonga, and Ahoka villages.Raising public awareness, distributing Halogen tablets, informative leaflets, and chemical packets, performing on-site source water quality checks, and collecting water samples for laboratory testing to ensure safe WASH practices to safe guard the public health alongside arranging sanitation facilities at various locations on account of the Hon'ble Chief Minister's visit.
​The team comprised EE PHE Mangaldai Division, AEE Mangaldai Sub Division, Sectional Officers, District Coordinator (IEC), Assistant Chemist, Lab Assistant, BWC, and other staff.

The PHED Mangaldai Division team conducted a comprehensive post flood precaution awareness measure at Outola GP on 07-08-2026, raising public awareness, distributing informative leaflets and chemical disinfection packets, performing on-site source water quality checks using Field Test Kits (FTK), and collecting water samples for advanced laboratory testing to ensure safe WASH facility to prevent disease outbreaks. The team comprised the EE, PHED Mangaldai Division,AEE ,Mangaldai sub division, Sectional officer,District Coordinator (IEC), Assistant Chemist, Lab Assistant, and other staff.

A review meeting was convened today in the office chamber of the Chief Executive Officer of Darrang Zila Parishad to discuss various issues related to Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) and Swachh Bharat Mission Grameen (SBM-G) under Mangaldai PHED Division. The session brought together key stakeholders, including the CEO, Deputy CEO, Assistant General Manager of APDCL, representatives from BDO s, District Project Manager of ASRLM, EE PHED ,AEE PHED alongside other department officials.

As per the resolution of the Swajal Baithak of Chapai GP under Mangaldai PHED division, a ward-level awareness meeting on the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) of the Piped Water Supply Scheme (PWSS) and Solid Waste Management (SWM) Rules 2026 was successfully held on 21-07-2026 at Geleidingi LP School. Attended by the GP president, ward members, Users Committee, SO, District Coordinator IEC, ISA, Jalmitras, and local beneficiaries, the session fostered vital discussions on water infrastructure upkeep and proper waste segregation, successfully sensitizing the community toward sustainable local development.
