Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-KISAN) became operational on 1st December 2018 and was officially launched on 24th February 2019 by Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi. The Scheme aims to provide income support to all landholder farmer families across the country with cultivable land, subject to specific exclusions. Under the Scheme, Rs 6,000 per year is released in three instalments of Rs 2,000 each directly into the beneficiaries’ bank accounts.

प्रधानमंत्री किसान सम्मान निधि (PM-KISAN) योजना के अंतर्गत अब तक 23 किस्तों में 4.47 लाख करोड़ रुपए से अधिक की सहायता राशि प्रत्यक्ष लाभ अंतरण (DBT) के माध्यम से पात्र किसान परिवारों के बैंक खातों में हस्तांतरित की जा चुकी है।

माननीय प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी की अध्यक्षता में केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल का बड़ा निर्णय।

प्रधानमंत्री किसान सम्मान निधि (पीएम-किसान) योजना के लिए वर्ष 2026-27 से 2030-31 तक 3 लाख 15 हजार 614 करोड़ रुपये का प्रावधान किया गया है।

पीएम-किसान योजना किसानों को आर्थिक संबल प्रदान करते हुए उन्हें समर्थ एवं सशक्त बनाने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा रही है। योजना से महिला किसानों को भी निरंतर लाभ मिल रहा है। लाभार्थियों में लगभग प्रत्येक चार में से एक महिला किसान है तथा अब तक महिला किसानों को 1.06 लाख करोड़ रुपये से अधिक की राशि प्रदान की जा चुकी है। इससे महिला किसानों का आर्थिक सशक्तिकरण और अधिक मजबूत हुआ है।

Under the leadership of the Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, women farmers are also being promoted. Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme, assistance amounting to more than ₹1.06 lakh crore has been provided to women farmers from the commencement of the scheme until now, and nearly every fourth beneficiary among the total beneficiaries is a woman.
