One-Day Tour Camp to Shravasti for Railway Employees

Under the guidance of Mr. Gaurav Agarwal, Divisional Railway Manager, Lucknow Division, North Eastern Railway, and under the direction of Mr. Rajesh Kumar Gupta, Senior Divisional Personnel Officer, a one-day tour camp to Shravasti was organized for the employees of the Gonda Division under the "Employee Welfare Fund."
A total of 56 railway employees from various departments of the Gonda Division enthusiastically participated in this tour camp. During the tour, the employees were taken to the major religious and tourist sites of Shravasti, providing them with an opportunity to become familiar with the historical and cultural heritage of the region. Adequate bus transportation, breakfast, lunch, and evening snacks were provided for the employees at the camp. After the tour, all participants were presented with souvenirs.

Such employee welfare programs play a vital role in the mental and social upliftment of employees, as well as in fostering mutual harmony, team spirit, and a sense of belonging to the organization.

The Division's Employee Welfare Inspectors efficiently ensured the successful and well-organized conduct of this excursion camp.

रेल कर्मचारियों हेतु श्रावस्ती का एक दिवसीय भ्रमण शिविर

पूर्वाेत्तर रेलवे, लखनऊ मंडल के मंडल रेल प्रबंधक श्री गौरव अग्रवाल के मार्गदर्शन एवं वरिष्ठ मंडल कार्मिक अधिकारी श्री राजेश कुमार गुप्ता के निर्देशन में ‘कर्मचारी कल्याण निधि’ के अंतर्गत गोण्डा परिक्षेत्र के कर्मचारियों हेतु ‘श्रावस्ती’ का एक दिवसीय भ्रमण शिविर का आयोजन किया गया।
इस भ्रमण शिविर में गोंडा परिक्षेत्र के विभिन्न विभागों से कुल 56 रेल कर्मचारियों ने उत्साहपूर्वक सहभागिता की। भ्रमण के दौरान कर्मचारियों को श्रावस्ती के प्रमुख धार्मिक एवं पर्यटन स्थलों का दर्शन कराया गया, जिससे उन्हें क्षेत्र की ऐतिहासिक एवं सांस्कृतिक विरासत से परिचित होने का अवसर प्राप्त हुआ। शिविर में कर्मचारियों के आवागमन हेतु बस की समुचित व्यवस्था, प्रातःकालीन नाश्ता, दोपहर का भोजन एवं सायंकालीन नाश्ता उपलब्ध कराया गया। भ्रमण के उपरान्त सभी प्रतिभागियों को स्मृति-चिह्न स्वरूप उपहार भी प्रदान किए गए।
इस प्रकार के कर्मचारी कल्याण कार्यक्रम कर्मचारियों के मानसिक एवं सामाजिक उत्थान के साथ-साथ आपसी सौहार्द, टीम भावना तथा संगठन के प्रति आत्मीयता को सुदृढ़ करने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाते हैं।
इस भ्रमण शिविर का सफल एवं सुव्यवस्थित संचालन मण्डल के कर्मचारी कल्याण निरीक्षकों ने कुशलतापूर्वक सुनिश्चित किया।

Employee Grievance Camp Organized in Lucknow Division

Under the guidance of Mr. Gaurav Agarwal, Divisional Railway Manager, Lucknow Division, North Eastern Railway, and under the guidance of Mr. Rajesh Kumar Gupta, Senior Divisional Personnel Officer, an "Employee Grievance Camp" is being organized for the prompt resolution of service-related problems of railway employees.
In this sequence, on July 31, 2026, an "Employee Grievance Camp" was organized for railway employees at the Assistant Divisional Engineer's Office, Mailani. A total of 26 employee complaints were received, of which 16 were resolved on the spot. The remaining complaints have been examined and necessary action has been initiated for their prompt resolution.
On August 5, 2026, a grievance redressal camp was organized for railway employees at the Gonda Loco Shed. At the camp, serving and retired employees presented their various problems and grievances. A total of 34 complaints were received, of which 13 were resolved on the spot. The concerned branches have been instructed to take necessary action for the prompt and quality resolution of the remaining 21 complaints.

During this period, various service-related problems of railway employees were seriously addressed, and their resolution was ensured on the spot as far as possible. The objective of such grievance camps is to provide prompt, transparent, and effective solutions to employee problems. The division's Chief Personnel Welfare Inspector, other supervisors, and employees were present at the camp.

लखनऊ मण्डल में कर्मचारी परिवाद कैंप का आयोजन

पूर्वोत्तर रेलवे, लखनऊ मंडल के मण्डल रेल प्रबंधक श्री गौरव अग्रवाल के मार्गदर्शन तथा वरिष्ठ मंडल कार्मिक अधिकारी, श्री राजेश कुमार गुप्ता के दिशानिर्देशन में रेल कर्मचारियों की सेवा संबंधी समस्याओं के त्वरित निस्तारण हेतु ‘कर्मचारी परिवाद कैंप’ का आयोजन किया जा रहा है।
इसी क्रम में दिनांक 31 जुलाई, 2026 को सहायक मंडल अभियंता कार्यालय, मैलानी में रेल कर्मचारियों हेतु ‘कर्मचारी परिवाद कैंप’ का आयोजन किया गया, जिसमें कुल 26 कर्मचारियों के परिवाद प्राप्त हुए, जिनमें से 16 परिवादों का मौके पर ही निस्तारण कर दिया गया। शेष परिवाद की जॉच कर शीघ्र निस्तारण हेतु आवश्यक कार्यवाही प्रारंभ कर दी गई है।
दिनांक 05 अगस्त, 2026 को गोंडा लोको शेड में रेल कर्मचारियों हेतु परिवाद निस्तारण शिविर का आयोजन किया गया। शिविर में कार्यरत एवं सेवानिवृत्त कर्मचारियों द्वारा अपनी विभिन्न समस्याओं एवं परिवादों को प्रस्तुत किया गया। इस दौरान कुल 34 परिवाद प्राप्त हुए, जिनमें से 13 परिवादों का मौके पर ही निस्तारण किया गया। शेष 21 परिवादों के शीघ्र एवं गुणवत्तापूर्ण निस्तारण हेतु संबंधित शाखाओं को आवश्यक कार्यवाही करने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं।
इस दौरान रेल कर्मचारियों की सेवा संबंधी विभिन्न समस्याओं को गंभीरता से सुना गया तथा यथासंभव उनका समाधान मौके पर ही सुनिश्चित किया गया। इस प्रकार के परिवाद कैंपों का उद्देश्य कर्मचारियों की समस्याओं का त्वरित, पारदर्शी एवं प्रभावी समाधान उपलब्ध कराना है। इस अवसर पर कैंप में मण्डल के मुख्य कर्मचारी कल्याण निरीक्षक तथा अन्य पर्यवेक्षक व कर्मचारी उपस्थित रहे।

लखनऊ जंक्शन की टीटीई लॉबी का हुआ व्यापक नवीनीकरण
पूर्वाेत्तर रेलवे, लखनऊ मण्डल में इनोवेशन और प्रोफ़ेशनल उत्कृष्टता के साथ की गयी एक नयी पहल के तहत लखनऊ जंक्शन के टीटीई लॉबी का व्यापक नवीनीकरण किया गया है।
नवीनीकरण की मुख्य विशेषताएंः
- इनोवेटिव डिज़ाइनः लॉबी को आधुनिक रूप दिया गया, जिससे कार्यक्षमता के साथ-साथ सौंदर्य भी बढ़ा।
- बेहतर सर्विस डिलीवरीः व्यवस्थित वर्कस्पेस बनने से चेकिंग स्टाफ़ के बीच तालमेल बेहतर हुआ, जिससे यात्री सेवाओं की गुणवत्ता और आराम में सीधा सुधार हुआ।

Awareness Program at Divisional Hospital, Badshahnagar, as part of World Breastfeeding Week 2026

Under the guidance of Shri Gaurav Agarwal, Divisional Railway Manager, Lucknow Division (North Eastern Railway), and the direction of Shri Ramesh Chandra, Chief Medical Superintendent, Badshahnagar, an awareness program was organized at the Divisional Hospital, Badshahnagar, to mark 'World Breastfeeding Week 2026' (observed from August 1 to August 7, 2026).
Additional Chief Medical Superintendent Dr. Anamika Singh explained that the objective of this week is to raise awareness among mothers and families regarding infant health, proper nutrition, and breastfeeding. She educated women on the importance of breastfeeding, correct techniques, and nutritional aspects. Subsequently, Senior Divisional Medical Officer Dr. Ayaz Ahmed provided detailed information to the attending staff, patients, and their attendants about the importance of breastfeeding and the practice of exclusive breastfeeding for infants from birth up to six months of age.
Dr. Niharika, paramedical staff, railway employees, and their family members were present on this occasion.

विश्व स्तनपान सप्ताह 2026 के अंतर्गत मण्डल चिकित्सालय बादशाहनगर पर जागरूकता कार्यक्रम

पूर्वाेत्तर रेलवे, लखनऊ मण्डल के मण्डल रेल प्रबंधक श्री गौरव अग्रवाल के मार्गदर्शन एवं मुख्य चिकित्सा अधीक्षक, बादशाहनगर श्री रमेश चंद्र के दिशानिर्देशन में मण्डल चिकित्सालय बादशाहनगर पर दिनांक 01.08.2026 से 07.08.2026 तक मनाये जा रहे ‘विश्व स्तनपान सप्ताह 2026’ के अवसर पर जागरुकता कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया।
अपर मुख्य चिकित्सा अधीक्षक डॉ अनामिका सिंह द्वारा बताया गया कि यह सप्ताह शिशुओं के स्वास्थ्य, सही पोषण और स्तनपान के प्रति माताओं एवं परिवारों में जागरूकता बढ़ाना है। उन्होंने महिलाओं को स्तनपान के महत्व, सही तकनीक एवं पोषण के संबंध में बताया। इसके उपरान्त वरिष्ठ मंडल चिकित्सा अधिकारी डॉ. अयाज अहमद ने उपस्थित कर्मचारियों ,मरीजों तथा उनके सहयोगियों को स्तनपान के महत्व तथा जन्म से लेकर 6 माह तक शिशु को सिर्फ स्तनपान ही कराने संबंधित विस्तृत जानकारियॉ प्रदान की।
इस अवसर पर डॉ निहारिका, पैरामेडिकल स्टॉफ, रेलकर्मी एवं उनके परिवारिजन उपस्थित थे।

North Eastern Railway, Lucknow Division, is committed to providing better passenger amenities and ensuring smooth travel for its passengers. To assess the strengthening of passenger facilities and the progress of ongoing redevelopment work at Gorakhpur Junction station, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Shri Gaurav Agarwal—accompanied by Additional Divisional Railway Manager (Operations) Smt. Neetu and senior branch officers from various departments—conducted a comprehensive inspection of the Gorakhpur area.
At the start of the inspection, the DRM inspected the platforms at Gorakhpur Junction and closely examined the circulating area, the multi-level parking facility under construction, basic passenger amenities, catering stalls, and the second entry building. Subsequently, he inspected the Running Room and issued instructions to the concerned departments. During the inspection, the DRM emphasized the need to remove unauthorized shops and parking near the station entrance and to keep the surrounding area clean and tidy.
Thereafter, upon arriving at Domingarh station, the DRM conducted a thorough inspection of the ongoing development works. He examined the station premises, circulating area, platform surfacing work, and available passenger amenities. He directed that the ongoing development projects be completed within the stipulated timeframe. The DRM reviewed the progress of development works at Domingarh station, which is being developed entirely by female staff. On this occasion, he boosted the morale of the female railway employees on duty by presenting them with gifts.
Finally, he inspected the Gorakhpur Cantt station building, platforms, and circulating area, issuing necessary instructions to the concerned departments. Prior to this, the DRM conducted a 'window trailing' inspection between Siddharthnagar and Gorakhpur Junction, during which he inspected the track, bridges, signaling systems, and level crossings. Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Senior Divisional Operations Manager (Co-ordination), Senior Divisional Mechanical Engineer (EnHM), Deputy Chief Engineer (Gati Shakti), and the Station Director (Gorakhpur), along with other officials and staff, were present on this occasion.
