ਹਰੇ ਚਾਰੇ ਦੀ ਪੈਦਾਵਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਂਭ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਦਾ ਮਸੀਨੀਕਰਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵਲੋਂ ਨਿਰੰਤਰ ਯਤਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਖ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵਲੋਂ ਡੇਅਰੀ ਦੇ ਧੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਵਿਕਸਤ ਅਤੇ ਲਾਹੇਵੰਦ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਡੇਅਰੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਬੋਰਡ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਹਰੇ ਚਾਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਆਚਾਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਠਾਂ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਮਸੀਨ ਦੀ ਲਾਗਤ ਉੱਤੇ 40% ਦੀ ਦਰ ਨਾਲ ਸਬਸਿਡੀ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਇਸ ਸਕੀਮ ਦੇ ਲਾਗੂ ਹੋਣ ਨਾਲ ਮਸੀਨ ਖਰੀਦਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਉੱਦਮੀ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਨੂੰ 5.60 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਤੱਕ ਦੀ ਵਿੱਤੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵਲੋਂ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ।

Punjab Government is making continuous efforts to modernize the production and maintenance of green fodder for which a new scheme has been launched. Wherein Punjab Government is to provide 40% subsidy to the farmers on the Silage Baler-cum-Wrapper machines through the Punjab Dairy Development Board to promote the dairy farming sector in the state and make it more advanced and profitable. With the implementation of this scheme, the progressive farmer who buys the machine would be provided financial assistance up to Rs. 5.60 lakh by the government.
