Going for paddy crop in the rainy season on my riverside. No tillage experiment. Variety Uma 130 days maturity. Sprouted seeds sown on 21st June, expecting them to root well before possible floods from July till August. River came in and stayed 3 ft above the paddy for a day and receded. Helped me with pest control by the fishes and gifted a little fertile silt. Feeling so happy and proud to learn from nature.

The little boy was so foolish... He asked the cool (season) veggies, " Would you mind gracing my little dream?" "Why not? 😊 Told carrot. Broccoli, Cabbage, cauliflower and even onions followed the carrot happily, into the boy's little dream garden!! Feeling really grateful 🙏🙏🙏😊

We need a spike in our food production pretty, fast. Maize, tuber crops along with vegetables at our farm. Self reliance needs to be on a local level. Let's respond positively to the wake up call 💪💪👍

A few updates on my farm after a long time. This year again floods affected us. Even though not as nasty as 2018, it was bad indeed. We are slowly recuperating. Veggies are getting ready and this year we are trying a bit of upland rice.
