✨ *Empowering Artisans – Workshop on Export of Handicraft Products* ✨

The Office of Joint DGFT Nagpur, in collaboration with the Bamboo Research and Training Centre (BRTC), successfully organized a one-day workshop on *11th December 2024 at Siddhant Hall, Forest Academy, Chandrapur.*

The workshop was inaugurated by *Smt. Snehal Dhokey (ITS), Assistant DGFT.* The event brought together experts, and artisans-entrepreneurs to explore opportunities for exporting handicraft products and share invaluable insights into global trade, government incentives, and e-commerce platforms. Key discussions revolved around *export incentives, global trade opportunities, and logistics support through the Dak Ghar Niryat Kendra.*

With insights from experts like *Smt. Manisha Bhinge, Additional Director, Headquarters and Training, Forest Academy, Chandrapur, Mr. S. Ramakrishna, Senior Superintendent, Postal Department, Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH), Mr. Sagar Khapane (Bank of Maharashtra), Mr. Nikhil Patil (DGFT Team), and Mr. Amit Chakraborty (Amazon Global),* the workshop empowered participants to expand their reach into international markets.

Bhawan, Civil Lines, Nagpur.

Ms. Snehal Dhokey (ITS), Assistant DGFT, provided insights on Export Incentives under Foreign Trade Policy available for the exporters.

Ms. Neetu Singh, Senior Deputy Director of EEPC INDIA, further emphasized Engineering Export Opportunities, empowering businesses with strategies to explore global markets.

Shri Kaushal Mohta, Chairman – VIA EXIM Forum, insights on boosting engineering exports.

Additionally, Shri Pramod Bang from Kotak Mahindra Bank highlighted Trade Finance and Treasury Services, while Shri Santosh Rao More, Deputy General Manager of SIDBI, discussed the Role of SIDBI in Fostering MSMEs.

The seminar served as a valuable platform for participants to understand the various incentives and financial assistance available to them, ultimately helping them scale their export activities.

DGFT Office in Nagpur raised awareness about cleanliness under the theme "स्वभाव स्वच्छता - संस्कार स्वच्छता"

On September 25, 2024, a cleanliness drive was conducted at the Ambazari Lake premises and Ambazari Garden. DGFT Officials and staff cleaned these areas and highlighted the importance of maintaining cleanliness.

🌶️ Workshop on Export of Spices from Vidarbha 🌶️

The Office of Joint DGFT Nagpur, in collaboration with the Spices Board of India, successfully organized a one-day workshop on spice exports on 18th September 2024 at VIA Hall, Nagpur.

The workshop was inaugurated by Smt. Snehal Dhokey (ITS), Assistant DGFT. The event brought together FPOs, farmers, traders, and exporters, especially in turmeric and chili production. Key discussions revolved around export incentives, global trade opportunities, best agricultural practices, and logistics support through the Dak Ghar Niryat Kendra.

With insights from experts like Dr. B. A. Gudade (Spices Board), Mr. Nikhil Patil (DGFT Team), and Mr. Sachin Sonone (NABARD), the workshop empowered local farmers and traders to expand their reach to international markets.
