Maintainance of road which was long pending done through shramdaan started from July,2025 has been completed today.
The work was done today from Charcharay,Rolu all the way to Turuk VAC in the presence of Honourable PRI's, P.I Sumbuk and staffs.

27thTuruk Ramabong GPU have successfully conducted MAHILA SABHA under the guidance of Honb'le Panchayat President Smt Saraswati Manger on 16.12.2025 at Star Federation Hall.
Honb'le Panchayat Members and VAC Staff also attend the Sabha.
Agenda of meeting
1. Women's Health and Hygiene.
2. Economic empowerment and livelihood.
3. Education and Awareness.
4. Nasha Mukt.
Action plan:
1. Conduct Awareness on Sanitation and hygiene and Nasha mukt Bharat.
2. Engage in activities like handicrafts, agriculture and micro enterprises.

27thTuruk Ramabong GPU have successfully conducted BAL PANCHAYAT SABHA under the guidance of Honb'le Panchayat President Smt Saraswati Manger on 16.12.2025 at Turuk Sec School Auditorium hall.
Honb'le Panchayat Members,School Staffs,VAC Staff also attend the Sabha.

1. Jal Mitra
2. Child development and welfare.
3. Environmental sustainability and conservation.
4. Education and health.
5. Nasha Mukt.
Action Plan finalized
1. Form Jal Mitra team.
2. Awareness Campaigns.
3. Organized a tree Plantation drive and cleanliness drive.

CLC President Shri.O.T Lepcha, Youth Convenor Shri.Sudhir Chettri, PRIs of Turuk Ramabong GPU, staff of HWC and Turuk GPK were present in this auspicious occasion.

A small valedictory programme for Computer Diploma course for students sanctioned by Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP)Financial Year (2023-2024) was held at Turuk GPK hall today.
The programme was attended by Computer Faculty Mr. Rahul Bangdel Rai,PRIs and students.
The students have completed their diploma course and were allocated with certificates.
The programme was effective.

Today a meeting was held at Turuk Gram Prashasan Kendra.
The meeting was attended by Rolu Manokamna Mandir committee Vice-President Shri A.B Rai, General Secretary Shri R.B Chettri, Youth Convenor Shri Sudhir Chettri and PRIs of Turuk GPK.
The meeting focused mainly on two agendas which are as follows:
1. From today onwards Turuk GPK will take full responsibilities regarding garbage management around Rolu Manokamna Mandir.
2. New Committee will be formed as soon as possible dissolving the old one.
The meeting was favourable.

This is to inform you all that the road which was closed from Turuk Gate to Beeling has been open from today onwards but heavy Vehicles like trucks and heavy goods vehicles are prohibited for one week as the road is not well settled.

Today in the presence of honourable MLA Shri.N.B Pradhan and Honourable B.D.O Sumbuk Shri.L.B Pradhan, the ongoing "Shramdaan" i.e.maintainance of road took place near Turuk VAC.
The PRIs of Turuk GPU along with Zilla Panchayat Miss.Naomit Lepcha, CLC President Melli,Youth Convenor Melli,Former Panchayats, retired Govt.Employees, Respected Panchayats of Melli Dara, Youth from Turuk Ramabong GPU and participants from Melli Paiyong GPU participated in this ongoing Shramdaan.
We sincerely thank you all for your assistance and cooperation and your willingness to help.
