मी दोन-तीन सोसायट्यांमध्ये जाऊन प्रत्यक्ष पाण्याचे नमुने तपासले. बाहेरील जलवाहिनीमधून येणारे पाणी आता पूर्वीइतके एवढे खराब येत नसून बऱ्याच प्रमाणात स्वच्छ आहे.
तथापि, मागील १५ दिवसांत जे दूषित पाणी पुरवठ्यात आले होते, त्यामुळे अनेक सोसायट्यांच्या पाण्याच्या टाक्यांमध्ये गाळ व घाण साचलेली असण्याची शक्यता आहे. नवीन पाणी टाकीत आल्यानंतर हा साचलेला गाळ वर येतो आणि तेच पाणी घरांमध्ये पुरवले जाते.
तरी सर्व सोसायटीच्या कमिटी सदस्यांना व पदाधिकाऱ्यांना नम्र विनंती आहे की, कृपया आपल्या सोसायटीच्या पाण्याच्या टाक्या स्वच्छ करून घ्याव्यात, जेणेकरून नागरिकांना स्वच्छ व शुद्ध पाणी मिळण्यास मदत होईल

I personally visited two to three housing societies and inspected the water samples. The water being supplied through the external pipeline is now much cleaner than before and is no longer as contaminated as it was earlier.
However, since contaminated water was supplied over the past 15 days, there is a possibility that sludge, sediment, and dirt have accumulated in the water storage tanks of many societies. When fresh water enters these tanks, the accumulated deposits can get disturbed and mix with the water being supplied to households.
Therefore, I humbly request all society committee members and office bearers to kindly arrange for the cleaning of their society water tanks. This will help ensure that residents receive clean and safe drinking water.
