НЬЮ-ДЕҲЛИДА ЎЗБЕКИСТОН МУСТАҚИЛЛИГИНИНГ 35 ЙИЛЛИГИ ТАНТАНАЛИ НИШОНЛАНДИ
Ҳиндистон пойтахти Нью-Деҳли шаҳрида Ўзбекистон Республикаси Давлат мустақиллигининг 35 йиллиги муносабати билан юксак савияда расмий қабул маросими ташкил этилди. Мазкур нуфузли тадбирда 350 дан зиёд меҳмонлар — Ҳиндистоннинг юқори мартабали давлат ва парламент арбоблари, Нью-Деҳлида аккредитациядан ўтган дипломатик корпус вакиллари, етакчи ишбилармон доиралар, академик ва фуқаролик жамияти намояндалари ҳамда Ҳиндистонда истиқомат қилаётган ватандошларимиз жам бўлишди.
Тантанали кечада Бош меҳмон сифатида Ҳиндистон Ташқи ишлар вазирлигининг Шарқ бўйича котиби Рудрендра Тандон иштирок этди. Мартабали меҳмонлар қаторидан Ҳиндистон Парламенти Қуйи палатаси (Лок Сабха) депутати, парламентдаги «Ҳиндистон – Ўзбекистон» дўстлик гуруҳи раҳбари Ганеш Сингх, Ташқи ишлар вазирлиги департамент раҳбари Маянк Сингх ўрин олдилар.
Тадбирни кириш сўзи билан очган Ўзбекистоннинг Ҳиндистондаги Февқулодда ва Мухтор Элчиси Сардор Рустамбаев ўз нутқида истиқлол йилларида мамлакатимизда барпо этилган мустаҳкам давлат институтлари, инфратузилма, таълим ва соғлиқни сақлаш тизимига киритилган кенг кўламли сармоялар ва жаҳон бозорига интеграциялашув босқичлари ҳақида батафсил тўхталиб ўтди.
Айниқса, 2016 йилдан буён Президент Шавкат Мирзиёев раҳбарлигида амалга оширилаётган ва «Янги Ўзбекистон»ни барпо этишга қаратилган туб ислоҳотлар иқтисодиётни очиқлаш, хусусий секторни мустаҳкамлаш ва халқ фаровонлигини оширишда ҳал қилувчи омил бўлаётгани таъкидланди.
Тадбирда мамлакатимиз иқтисодий ютуқлари акс этган асосий кўрсаткичлар келтириб ўтилди:
• Иқтисодий ўсиш: 2025 йил якунлари бўйича Ўзбекистон ЯИМ ўсиши 7,7 фоизни ташкил этиб, 147 миллиард АҚШ долларидан ошди (2026 йил учун мақсад — 167 млрд доллар).
• Инвестиция ва бандлик: Хорижий инвестициялар ҳажми 43,1 миллиард долларга етди, ишсизлик даражаси 4,9 фоизга, камбағаллик эса 5,8 фоизгача қисқарди.
Икки томонлама муносабатларда Ҳиндистон алоҳида ва муҳим ўрин тутиши алоҳида қайд этилди. 2011 йилда ўрнатилган Стратегик шерикликнинг 15 йиллиги нишонланаётган жорий 2026 йилда муносабатлар сифат жиҳатидан янги — Ҳар томонлама стратегик шериклик даражасига кўтарилгани тарихий воқеа сифатида эътироф этилди.
Тадбир иштирокчиларига Жорий йилнинг 29–30 август кунлари Ҳиндистон Бош вазири Нарендра Модининг Ўзбекистонга амалга оширган давлат ташрифи ва Тошкентдаги олий даражадаги музокаралар якунлари бўйича батафсил маълумот берилди.
Ҳиндистон ТИВ Шарқ бўйича котиби Рудрендра Тандон ўз қутлов сўзида икки халқ ўртасидаги азалий тарихий ва маданий ришталарни ёдга олиб, стратегик ҳамкорликни янада кенгайтиришга бўлган қатъий интилишни тасдиқлади:
• Икки мамлакат етакчилари 2030 йилгача ўзаро савдо ҳажмини 5 миллиард АҚШ долларига етказиш ва қўшма бизнес-саммит ўтказиш бўйича келишиб олдилар.
• Муҳим минераллар, уран етказиб бериш, иқтисодий хавфсизлик, мудофаа, рақамли инфратузилма, фармацевтика ва қайта тикланувчи энергетика музокараларнинг марказида бўлди.
• Ҳиндистон томонидан Ўзбекистоннинг Оролбўйи минтақасини экологик соғломлаштириш борасидаги саъй-ҳаракатларини қўллаб-қувватлаш учун 1 миллион АҚШ доллари миқдорида грант ажратилгани эълон қилинди.
Тантанали тадбир доирасида иштирокчиларга «Business Central Asia» журналининг Ўзбекистон Мустақиллигининг 35 йиллигига бағишлаб нашр этилган махсус сони тақдим этилди. Кеча давомида бўлиб ўтган самимий суҳбатлар Ҳиндистон жамоатчилигининг Янги Ўзбекистондаги ижобий ўзгаришларга бўлган юқори қизиқишини яққол кўрсатди.
Қабул маросими ёрқин маданий дастур билан давом этди. Меҳмонларга миллий қўшиқ ва рақслар намойиш этилиб, «Ўзбекистон ҳаво йўллари» АЖ ва «Centrum Air» компанияси кўмагида тайёрланган ўзбек миллий таоми — ош-палов ҳамда юртимиздан келтирилган сархил ҳўл ва қуруқ мевалар тортиқ қилинди.
Нью-Деҳлида бўлиб ўтган ушбу тантанали кеча бой тарихий илдизларга эга бўлган Ўзбекистон ва Ҳиндистон дўстлиги, ўзаро ишончи ва ҳар томонлама шериклиги жадал ривожланиб бораётганининг яна бир ёрқин намоён бўлди.

35th Anniversary of Uzbekistan’s Independence Grandly Celebrated in New Delhi
An official reception was held at a high level in the Indian capital of New Delhi to mark the 35th Anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The prestigious event brought together over 350 guests, including high-ranking Indian government and parliamentary officials, members of the diplomatic corps accredited in New Delhi, prominent representatives of the business community, academic and civil society leaders, as well as Uzbek compatriots residing in India.
Secretary (East) in the Ministry of External Affairs of India, Rudrendra Tandon, attended the solemn evening as the Chief Guest. Among the distinguished attendees were Ganesh Singh, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) and Chairman of the India–Uzbekistan Parliamentary Friendship Group, and Mayank Singh, Head of Department at the Ministry of External Affairs.
Opening the event with a welcoming address, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to India, Sardor Rustambaev, elaborated on the solid state institutions established during the years of independence, major investments in infrastructure, education, and healthcare, as well as the country's gradual integration into global markets.
Particular emphasis was placed on the profound transformations carried out under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev since 2016 aimed at building a "New Uzbekistan," which have played a decisive role in opening the economy, strengthening the private sector, and enhancing the well-being of the people.
The presentation highlighted key economic indicators demonstrating Uzbekistan's progress:
• Economic Growth: In 2025, Uzbekistan’s GDP grew by 7.7%, exceeding 147 billion US dollars (with a national target of approximately 167 billion US dollars for 2026).
• Investment and Employment: Foreign investment reached 43.1 billion US dollars, while the unemployment rate declined to 4.9% and the poverty rate dropped to 5.8%.
It was underscored that India occupies a special and vital place in Uzbekistan's foreign relations. Marking both the 35th anniversary of independence and the 15th anniversary of the Strategic Partnership established in 2011, the year 2026 witnessed a historical milestone as bilateral relations were elevated to the level of a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
Event participants were briefed in detail on the results of the State Visit paid by Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi to Uzbekistan on August 29–30 of this year and the high-level negotiations held in Tashkent.
In his congratulatory address, MEA Secretary (East) Rudrendra Tandon recalled the age-old historical and cultural ties between the two nations and reaffirmed the firm resolve to further expand strategic cooperation:
• The leaders of the two countries set an ambitious target to increase bilateral trade to 5 billion US dollars by 2030 and agreed to hold a joint business summit.
• Cooperation in critical minerals, uranium supplies, economic security, defence, digital public infrastructure, pharmaceuticals, and renewable energy remained at the core of the discussions.
• India announced a 1 million US dollar grant to support Uzbekistan's environmental rehabilitation efforts in the Aral Sea region.
As part of the solemn ceremony, attendees were presented with a special edition of Business Central Asia magazine dedicated to the 35th Anniversary of Uzbekistan’s Independence. The warm interactions throughout the evening demonstrated the keen interest of the Indian public in the positive transformations and reforms in New Uzbekistan.
The reception featured a vibrant cultural program with national music and dance performances. Guests were served traditional Uzbek pilaf, prepared in cooperation with JSC "Uzbekistan Airways" and "Centrum Air", as well as fresh and dried fruits brought directly from Uzbekistan.
The grand event in New Delhi served as another vivid demonstration of the rapidly evolving friendship, mutual trust, and multifaceted partnership between Uzbekistan and India, deeply rooted in shared history and looking toward the future.

Ўзбекистон делгациясининг Ҳиндистонга ташрифи доирасида “India Semiconductor Mission” раҳбари А. Синҳа билан учрашув бўлиб ўтди. Томонлар мамлакатимизда яримўтказгичлар саноатини ривожлантириш стратегиясини ишлаб чиқиш учун Ҳиндистоннинг етакчи консалтинг компанияларини жалб этиш масаласи муҳокама этишди.
Шунингдек, Ўзбекистон мутахассисларини Ҳиндистоннинг “Миллий электроника ва ахборот технологиялари институти” (NIELIT) дастурлари асосида IC-дизайн (интеграл микросхемалар дизайни) бўйича тайёрлаш юзасидан меморандум лойиҳасини имзолашга келишилди.
Ўзбекистонлик мутахассислар учун Ҳиндистоннинг тегишли яримўтказгичлар ва технология компанияларида иш жойида амалий тайёргарлик (OJT — On-the-Job Training) ўташ тартибини жорий этиш бўйича амалий ҳамкорлик қилишга келишилди.

As part of the visit of Uzbekistan's delegation to India, a meeting was held with the head of the "India Semiconductor Mission," A. Sinha. The parties discussed engaging leading Indian consulting firms to formulate a strategy for the development of the semiconductor industry in our country.

Additionally, an agreement was reached to sign a draft memorandum on training Uzbek specialists in IC design (integrated circuit design) based on the programs of the National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) of India.

Practical cooperation was also agreed upon to implement On-the-Job Training (OJT) programs for specialists from Uzbekistan at relevant Indian semiconductor and technology companies.

The delegation of Uzbekistan held negotiations in New Delhi with the Minister of Finance of India, N. Sitharaman. Within the framework of the meeting, an agreement was reached to establish a joint working group to ensure the implementation of relevant agreements and the signed memorandum achieved during Prime Minister N. Modi's visit to Tashkent.

Specifically, issues of investment cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector were discussed. The Uzbek side announced its readiness to establish dedicated special industrial zones for Indian companies.

In turn, N. Sitharaman expressed readiness to facilitate a visit to Uzbekistan by a delegation of leading Indian pharmaceutical companies in February 2027.

It was also agreed to accelerate and finalize the integration of India's "UPI" system with Uzbekistan's "Humo" payment system.

On September 12–13, within the framework of the visit to India to participate in the BRICS Summit, the delegation of Uzbekistan, led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance J. Kuchkarov, held a series of bilateral meetings.

During the meeting with the President of the New Development Bank, D. Rousseff, it was noted with satisfaction that a Framework Agreement in the amount of $2.5 billion and a loan agreement for $300 million were signed as part of the planned nuclear power plant construction project in our country.

The foreign partner emphasized that they regard Uzbekistan as an important partner for the New Development Bank and expressed satisfaction with Uzbekistan's membership representing the Central Asian region.

A delegation from Uzbekistan, led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance J. Kuchkarov, participated in the 18th BRICS Summit, held on September 12–13 in New Delhi under the theme "Stability, Innovation, Cooperation, and Sustainable Development."
During the summit, the speeches of the heads of state primarily focused on the situation in the Middle East, global security, international trade and maritime safety, artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, economic stability, food and energy security, the reform of the international financial system, and enhancing the role of the Global South.
Following the event, a joint declaration was adopted by the member states. In the declaration, the member states reaffirmed their shared commitment to a multipolar world order, officially called for the lifting of unilateral economic sanctions, and proposed the urgent reform of the World Trade Organization and the UN Security Council.
The joint declaration strongly condemned the terrorist attack that took place in the Pahalgam region of Jammu and Kashmir on April 22, 2025, emphasizing the absolute necessity to combat terrorism in all its forms.
Within the framework of international security, serious concern was expressed regarding attacks on civilian and nuclear facilities, noting that such actions violate IAEA safeguards and the norms of international law. Simultaneously, China and Russia supported the aspirations of India and Brazil to play a more prominent role in the UN Security Council.
Addressing the situation in the Middle East, a firm stance was taken against the forced displacement of the civilian population in Gaza, alongside calls for a ceasefire and the unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid.
On economic matters, concerns were raised over unilateral tariffs, trade restrictions, and sanctions, emphasizing that such measures must comply with international trade rules. A firm position was also expressed against unilateral border taxes.
In the realm of technology, the member states reaffirmed their commitment to implementing the BRICS declaration on the global governance of artificial intelligence.

At the invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India has arrived in Uzbekistan on a state visit.

At Tashkent-Humo International Airport, the Prime Minister of India was welcomed by the President of Uzbekistan.

In honor of the distinguished guest, the national flags of the two countries were raised and a guard of honor was lined up.

Uzbekistan and India Expand Cooperation in the Tourism Sector!
A meeting was held in Tashkent between Deputy Chairman of the Tourism Committee Sanjar Tadjiev and representatives of India’s tourism business community.
The Indian delegation was presented with Uzbekistan’s rich cultural and historical heritage, tourism potential, and hospitality infrastructure.
The meeting focused on increasing tourist flows, launching new travel routes, and strengthening promotional activities.
The visiting guests, who came with the support of “Enjoy Travel” and “Hilton,” highly appreciated Uzbekistan’s historical monuments, national cuisine, and opportunities for pilgrimage tourism.
At the conclusion of the meeting, letters of appreciation were presented to the foreign partners in recognition of their contribution to promoting Uzbekistan’s tourism at the international level.
