An archetype and prestigious event would be the definition of Com Arena. This All- Kerala Intercollegiate Commerce Fest was founded in 2007 by the Research and Post- Graduate Department of Commerce, St. Thomas College, Palai in order to provide a platform for students having Commerce background to exhibit their
talents and skills and to enhance their abilities. The Depa

rtment of Commerce has been successfully conducting Com Arena with massive participation of students from various colleges across Kerala for the past Seven years and it is rated as one of the best Intercollegiate Commerce Fests in the State. ABOUT OUR COLLEGE
St. Thomas College, Pala has consistently been one of the leading colleges in South India in the field of Academics, Research, Sports, Competitions etc.The College was founded in 1950 by the Diocese of Palai. The founders of the college set before themselves the task of providing a Christian formation to the younger generation by fostering in their minds faith in God, love for their fellow-men and devotion to motherland. These aims are to be realised by imparting moral and religious discipline in addition to the instruction aimed at general intellectual and physical advancement. They made it their mission to spread the light of learning all around, irrespective of caste, creed, religion or language. The college was accredited at B+ level by NAAC in 2007 and is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. It is recognized under section 2(f) and 12B of the UGC Act, 1956. The College is approved as a “College with Potential for Excellence” by UGC. The Government of Kerala has recognized the College as a Special Grade Minority Institution.

General Directions / Rules for Students from Colleges
• Any student from a university or a college affiliated to a university in India is eligible to be a participant.
• A participant can take part only in one event
• Registration starts at 8.00 am in the college auditorium and closes at 9.30 am.
• The registration fee is Rs.150/- per head; Local hospitality will be provided.
• Inaugural function begins at 9.00 am and prelims of various events will start exactly at 10 am in different venues.
• Participants should produce their photo identity card; an authorization letter from the head of the institution is also expected.
• The organizing committee reserves the right to decide the time schedule of events.
• The decision of judges will be final.
• Participants are expected to behave according to the general standards of discipline of the College.
