Certificate Distribution Ceremony for World Population Day Programme Held at A. N. Anugrah Narayan College, Patna

The Certificate Distribution Ceremony for the participants and NSS volunteers who actively participated in the World Population Day 2026 programme was successfully organized on 18 July 2026 at 12:00 p.m. in the Conference Room of A. N. College, Patna.

The ceremony was graced by Prof. Ratna Amrit, Principal, A. N. College, Patna, as the Chief Guest. Distinguished guests included Senior Professor Kalanath Mishra, Dr. Abhishek Dutta, Bursar, Dr. Varun, Department of Hindi, and NSS Programme Officers Dr. Navin Kumar and Dr. Amrita Chakraborty.

Addressing the gathering, Prof. Ratna Amrit congratulated the volunteers and participants for their enthusiastic involvement in the World Population Day awareness programme. She appreciated their efforts in spreading awareness about family planning, prevention of early marriage, adolescent health, and responsible parenthood through activities such as the cycle rally and street play. She encouraged students to continue participating in community outreach programmes and social awareness campaigns.

During the ceremony, certificates were presented to all volunteers and participants in recognition of their valuable contribution to the successful observance of World Population Day 2026. The recipients expressed their gratitude to the college administration, NSS, Sehat Kendra, the State Health Society, Bihar, and the Population Foundation of India for providing them with an opportunity to contribute to a meaningful social cause.

*स्टार्ट-अप सेल, ए.एन. कॉलेज, पटना द्वारा "पिच डेक प्रिपरेशन" विषय पर कार्यशाला का सफल आयोजन*

पटना, 14 जुलाई 2026।

स्टार्ट-अप सेल, ए.एन. कॉलेज, पटना द्वारा आज "Workshop on Pitch Deck Preparation" का सफल आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य विद्यार्थियों में उद्यमिता की भावना विकसित करना तथा उन्हें प्रभावशाली पिच डेक तैयार करने की प्रक्रिया से अवगत कराना था।

कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत स्टार्ट-अप सेल की फैकल्टी इंचार्ज डॉ. निहारिका कुमारी के स्वागत भाषण (Welcome Address) से हुई। उन्होंने सभी अतिथियों एवं विद्यार्थियों का स्वागत करते हुए स्टार्ट-अप संस्कृति को बढ़ावा देने में ऐसे प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रमों की महत्ता पर प्रकाश डाला।

इस अवसर पर महाविद्यालय की प्राचार्या प्रो. (डॉ.) रत्ना अमृत ने विद्यार्थियों को संबोधित करते हुए उन्हें नवाचार, उद्यमिता एवं आत्मनिर्भर भारत के निर्माण में अपनी सक्रिय भूमिका निभाने के लिए प्रेरित किया। उन्होंने कहा कि Pitch Deck केवल निवेश प्राप्त करने का माध्यम नहीं, बल्कि अपने विचारों को प्रभावी ढंग से प्रस्तुत करने की कला है। उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों को नए विचारों पर कार्य करने, जोखिम लेने तथा स्टार्ट-अप इकोसिस्टम से जुड़कर अपने सपनों को साकार करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया।

कार्यक्रम में बर्सर प्रो. अभिषेक दत्ता, एमबीए समन्वयक प्रो. कालानाथ मिश्रा, हिंदी विभाग के डॉ. वरुण कुमार, स्टार्ट-अप सेल कोऑर्डिनेटर सचिन राज, स्टूडेंट रिप्रेजेंटेटिव वंदना सिंह एवं पीयूष आनंद सहित बड़ी संख्या में विद्यार्थी उपस्थित रहे।

कार्यक्रम की मुख्य वक्ता सुश्री प्रिया नाथ, सहायक प्राध्यापक, चंद्रगुप्त इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ मैनेजमेंट, पटना (CIMP) रहीं। उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों को बताया कि सफल स्टार्टअप की शुरुआत किसी वास्तविक समस्या की पहचान से होती है तथा एक प्रभावी Pitch Deck निवेशकों के सामने अपने विचार को स्पष्ट एवं प्रभावशाली ढंग से प्रस्तुत करने का सबसे महत्वपूर्ण माध्यम है।

उन्होंने पिच डेक के प्रमुख घटकों—समस्या की पहचान, ग्राहक, समाधान, बिजनेस मॉडल, मार्केट, ट्रैक्शन, प्रतियोगिता, टीम तथा निवेशकों के समक्ष प्रभावी प्रस्तुति—पर विस्तार से चर्चा की। साथ ही विद्यार्थियों को प्रोटोटाइप तैयार करने, ग्राहकों से फीडबैक लेने तथा व्यवहारिक सोच विकसित करने के लिए प्रेरित किया।

उन्होंने Startup Bihar, Sayuj (STPI) तथा Razorpay Rize Program जैसी विभिन्न योजनाओं एवं स्टार्टअप सहायता कार्यक्रमों की जानकारी भी साझा की तथा बताया कि इन योजनाओं के माध्यम से नवोदित उद्यमियों को मार्गदर्शन, इन्क्यूबेशन एवं वित्तीय सहायता प्राप्त हो सकती है।

कार्यक्रम के दौरान विद्यार्थियों ने उत्साहपूर्वक सहभागिता की तथा स्टार्टअप से जुड़े अनेक प्रश्न पूछे, जिनका मुख्य वक्ता ने विस्तारपूर्वक उत्तर दिया।

कार्यक्रम के अंत में स्टार्ट-अप सेल की फैकल्टी इंचार्ज डॉ. निहारिका कुमारी ने सभी अतिथियों, मुख्य वक्ता, महाविद्यालय प्रशासन, संकाय सदस्यों एवं विद्यार्थियों के प्रति धन्यवाद ज्ञापित (Vote of Thanks) किया तथा कार्यक्रम की सफलता में सहयोग देने वाले सभी लोगों का आभार व्यक्त किया।

*World Population Day Observed at A. N. College with Cycle Rally and Street Play*

*Patna, July 11, 2026:* Sehat Kendra, A. N. College, Patna, in collaboration with the State Health Society, Bihar, BSACS, and the Population Foundation of India, observed World Population Day on Saturday with enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and NSS volunteers. The programme was organized to raise awareness about the importance of family planning, the prevention of early marriage, and the adverse health consequences of teenage pregnancy.

The event was organized under the global theme, *"Realizing the Hopes and Aspirations of Young People – Today and for the Future.* " It commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by *Prof. Ratna Amrit, Principal, A. N. College, Patna,* and Dr. Sarita, State Programme Officer (Family Planning), State Health Society, Bihar. In their addresses, they emphasized the importance of youth participation in family planning, reproductive health awareness, and informed decision-making. The programme was also graced by Mr. Nilanshu from the Population Foundation of India. Prof. Sailesh Kumar Singh (Department of Philosophy), Dr. Sanjay Kumar (Department of Hindi), and Dr. Bandana Priya (Department of Mathematics) were also present on the occasion.

A *Nukkad Natak* (street play) effectively highlighted the importance of preventing teenage pregnancy and promoting responsible reproductive health choices. Although the cycle rally began later than scheduled due to rain, the students enthusiastically completed the rally while raising awareness through slogans.

Faculty members, students, and NSS volunteers actively participated in the campaign, making the event a meaningful platform for promoting public health awareness and youth empowerment. At the conclusion of the programme, all participants and volunteers were provided with T-shirts and refreshments by the organizers.

The event was coordinated under the guidance of Dr. Amrita Chakraborty, In-charge, Sehat Kendra, A. N. College, Patna, whose dedicated efforts ensured the successful organization of the programme. The celebration reaffirmed the institution's commitment to promoting public health awareness and encouraging youth participation in community welfare initiatives.

वन महोत्सव सप्ताह के अवसर पर ए. एन. कॉलेज, पटना की राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना (एनएसएस) इकाई द्वारा महाविद्यालय परिसर स्थित अनुग्रह वाटिका में वन महोत्सव-2026 का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य पर्यावरण संरक्षण के प्रति जागरूकता फैलाना तथा वृक्षारोपण के माध्यम से हरित भविष्य के निर्माण का संकल्प लेना था।

कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ महाविद्यालय की प्राचार्या प्रो. रतना अमृत ने किया। अपने संबोधन में उन्होंने वनों के महत्व, पर्यावरणीय संतुलन तथा वर्तमान समय में वृक्षारोपण की आवश्यकता पर विस्तार से चर्चा की। उन्होंने सभी उपस्थितजनों को ‘एक वृक्ष माँ के नाम’ लगाने तथा ‘एक वृक्ष गोद लेने’ के लिए प्रेरित किया। उनके नेतृत्व में अनुग्रह वाटिका में विभिन्न प्रकार के पौधों का रोपण किया गया।

इस अवसर पर महाविद्यालय के शिक्षकगण प्रो. शैलेश कुमार सिंह, प्रो. सुशील कुमार सिंह, प्रो. विनोद कुमार झा, बर्सर डॉ. अभिषेक दत्ता, डॉ. संजय कुमार सिंह और विश्वविध्यालय एनएसएस कोऑर्डिनेटर प्रो सुजीत कुमार दुबे, डॉ ज्योतिष कुमार, प्रो. वीणा कुमारी,प्रो सीमा प्रसाद, सभी विभाग के अध्यक्ष सहित अनेक प्राध्यापकों ने उत्साहपूर्वक वृक्षारोपण कर पर्यावठरण संरक्षण के प्रति अपनी प्रतिबद्धता व्यक्त की।

राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना के कार्यक्रमi पदाधिकारी डॉ. नवीन कुमार, डॉ. शिरीन मसरूर एवं डॉ. अमृता चक्रवर्ती ने भी एनएसएस स्वयंसेवकों के साथ मिलकर वृक्षारोपण किया। कार्यक्रम में स्वयंसेवकों एवं छात्र-छात्राओं का विशेष उत्साह देखने को मिला। उन्होंने पर्यावरण संरक्षण को जन-आंदोलन बनाने का संकल्प लिया।

इस अवसर पर महाविद्यालय के नॉन-टीचिंग स्टाफ तथा बड़ी संख्या में छात्र-छात्राएं उपस्थित रहे। कार्यक्रम के समापन पर सभी उपस्थितजनों ने पर्यावरण संरक्षण, अधिकाधिक वृक्षारोपण एवं लगाए गए पौधों के संरक्षण की शपथ ली।

यह कार्यक्रम सफलतापूर्वक संपन्न हुआ तथा समाज में पर्यावरण संरक्षण एवं हरित भविष्य के निर्माण का सशक्त संदेश प्रसारित करने में महत्वपूर्ण सिद्ध हुआ।

ए.एन. कॉलेज, पटना एवं देशव्यापी पर्यावरणीय संगठन तरुमित्र के बीच पर्यावरण संरक्षण, जलवायु परिवर्तन, जन-जागरूकता एवं संयुक्त शोध गतिविधियों को बढ़ावा देने के उद्देश्य से पाँच वर्षों के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण एमओयू पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए।

इस एमओयू के तहत दोनों संस्थान पर्यावरणीय स्थिरता, जलवायु परिवर्तन, जैव विविधता संरक्षण, छात्र-युवा सहभागिता, पर्यावरण जागरूकता अभियान, प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम, कार्यशालाओं, सेमिनारों तथा संयुक्त शोध परियोजनाओं का संचालन करेंगे। इस सहयोग का उद्देश्य विद्यार्थियों में पर्यावरणीय संवेदनशीलता विकसित करना तथा समाज में सतत विकास के प्रति जागरूकता बढ़ाना है।

एमओयू पर ए.एन. कॉलेज, पटना की ओर से प्राचार्या प्रो. रत्ना अमृत तथा तरुमित्र की ओर से निदेशक फादर टोनी पेंडानाथ एस.जे. ने हस्ताक्षर किए। इस अवसर पर ए.एन. कॉलेज की ओर से डॉ. अभिषेक दत्ता, बर्सर तथा तरुमित्र की ओर से देवप्रिया दत्ता, समन्वयक साक्षी के रूप में उपस्थित रहे।

प्राचार्या प्रो. रत्ना अमृत ने कहा कि यह समझौता विद्यार्थियों को पर्यावरण संरक्षण एवं सतत विकास के क्षेत्र में व्यावहारिक अनुभव प्रदान करेगा तथा संस्थान को शोध एवं सामाजिक उत्तरदायित्व की दिशा में नई ऊँचाइयों तक ले जाएगा।
इस अवसर पर दोनों संस्थानों ने पर्यावरण संरक्षण एवं जलवायु परिवर्तन जैसी वैश्विक चुनौतियों से निपटने के लिए संयुक्त प्रयास करने तथा विद्यार्थियों को पर्यावरण के प्रति उत्तरदायी नागरिक बनाने का संकल्प व्यक्त किया। यह साझेदारी शिक्षा, अनुसंधान एवं सामाजिक जागरूकता के क्षेत्र में एक महत्वपूर्ण पहल मानी जा रही है।

A. N. College, Patna proudly hosted the Patna District-Level Red Run 2026 in collaboration with the Bihar State AIDS Control Society (BSACS) under the guidance of the National AIDS Control Organisation (NACO), Government of India.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of colleges, universities, and educational institutions across Patna district, spreading the message of HIV/AIDS awareness, adolescent health, mental well-being, and the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle.

The programme was inaugurated by Principal Prof. Ratna Amrit, who encouraged the youth to embrace fitness and contribute towards building a healthy and responsible society. BSACS officials and Binay Kumar, NSS Regional Director, were also present and announced the results of the competition.

We are proud to share that Anand Kumar Jaiswal of A. N. College secured the second position in the boys' category. Congratulations to him on this remarkable achievement.

All participants received certificates of participation, while the top five boys and top five girls qualified to represent Patna district at the State-Level Red Run 2026.

The programme was graced by NSS Programme Officers and coordinators from participating institutions. Dr. Navin Kumar, NSS Programme Officer, and Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Department of Hindi, A. N. College, were present on the occasion. The successful conduct of the event was made possible under the coordination of Dr. Amrita Chakraborty , District Nodal Officer, Red Run 2026 (Patna District), with the dedicated support of NSS volunteers and the staff of A. N. College.

The College-Level Red Run 2026 was successfully organized on 26 June 2026 at A. N. College, Patna under the aegis of the Bihar State AIDS Control Society (BSACS). The event was conducted as part of a statewide initiative to spread awareness about HIV/AIDS, adolescent health, healthy lifestyles, and the importance of regular physical activity among young people.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various departments of the college. It commenced with the registration of participants, followed by an orientation session highlighting the objectives and significance of Red Run 2026.

A total of 25 students participated in the marathon competition. Based on their outstanding performance, 10 winners (05 male and 05 female participants) were selected to represent A. N. College, Patna at the next level of the competition.

The programme was successfully coordinated by Dr. Amrita Chakraborty , Nodal Officer, Red Run 2026, with the dedicated support of the NSS volunteers ensuring the smooth and successful conduct of the event.

आज ए.एन. कॉलेज, पटना द्वारा अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस उत्साह एवं सहभागिता के साथ मनाया गया। महाविद्यालय की प्राचार्या प्रो. रत्ना अमृत के नेतृत्व में आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम में राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना (NSS) के कार्यक्रम पदाधिकारी डॉ. नवीन कुमार एवं डॉ. कामना के मार्गदर्शन में स्वयंसेवकों ने सक्रिय रूप से भाग लिया।
योगाभ्यास के माध्यम से स्वस्थ शरीर, शांत मन एवं संतुलित जीवन के महत्व को रेखांकित किया गया। प्रतिभागियों ने नियमित योग को अपनी दिनचर्या का हिस्सा बनाने का संकल्प लिया।
