On January 23, 2025, Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering, Lavale, under the National Service Scheme (NSS) of Savitribai Phule Pune University, organized a one-day district-level workshop on the theme of "Environment Conservation and Protection". The event was an enlightening initiative aimed at fostering awareness about environmental sustainability and protection. The program emphasized the need for collaborative efforts to conserve the environment and instill values of preservation among participants.
The workshop featured insightful sessions by esteemed speakers:
Dr. Minal R. Nirgude, who shared her expertise on sustainable practices and environmental ethics.
Dr. Vinayak M. Bhosale, who delivered an engaging address on critical strategies for environmental management.
Dr. Sangram C. Patil, who provided practical insights into conservation methodologies.
The program was conducted under the guidance of Dr. S. C. Patil, Program Officer of NSS, and supported by Dr. R. N. Patil, Principal of Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering, Lavale, along with Dr. Sadanand Bhosale, NSS Director, Savitribai Phule Pune University.
This workshop served as a platform to educate and inspire participants about the importance of protecting our planet. The collective commitment shown by everyone is a testament to the positive change such initiatives can bring to society.
