“Hands-on STEM Activities for School Classrooms: Inquiry-Based Teaching in Mathematics”. This online workshop focuses on integrating hands-on, inquiry-based approaches into classroom teaching, helping students engage more deeply with mathematical concepts through exploration and experimentation.

It was a pleasure to host Dr. Shridhar Shukla, whose generous support through the programme at continues to strengthen our work in teacher and students and . Our team had the opportunity to share with Dr. Shukla updates from the past year, including the scale and impact of our initiatives reaching thousands of and across multiple states through the programmes at IISER Pune. Dean (International Relations and Outreach) Prof. Arnab Mukherjee said "The discussion was equally enriching, as we explored ideas on expanding outreach and strengthening capacity-building for educators and learners in India. Dr. Shukla’s perspectives, shaped by extensive experience across academia and industry, were both insightful and encouraging".
We look forward to taking these ideas forward and building further on this meaningful collaboration.

Glimpses from the 2026 delivered today by Dr. Naushad Forbes, Co-chairperson of Forbes Marshall! In his lecture, Dr. Forbes spoke about research and development across the world and India. The students that institutes graduate are the key output of the higher education system, and this is why institutes such as IISERs that combine research and teaching matter so much, he said. Dr. Forbes advocated for industry and academia to discover more opportunities to collaborate and innovate together. Director Prof. Sunil Bhagwat gave the institute report highlighting the activities and achievements of the institute members. Awards were given out to students, faculty, and staff in recognition of excellence in their work. to all the award winners and to our Chief Guest Dr. Naushad Forbes for an inspiring Foundation Day Lecture.
